They've had one of those at Kennywood Park in Pgh. for 20 or 30 years. it's always booked solid as soon as the park is open. People love it and love to watch it too.

I did the new one at the Orlando Fun Spot. It never has that type of demand as the park is very slow most of the time, but they almost always seem to have people on it.

I had a friend that poked me to ride one years ago and I always said noooooooooo. It probably saved my life at the time. DC is my limit and that is pushing it hard. I scream as if being eviscerated.

Kennywood is almost the size of DCA before the Cars Land expansion, so they get a pretty heavy daily attendance when they're open. Seven really great coasters and lots of thrilling flat rides, plus some classic attractions that only exist there now. Seems like the Flying Coaster is a blast but I've always been too chicken to ride it.

Sounds a lot like Knott's Berry Farm. I'd love to do an Amusement park tour of the country one day.

I don't really know where my limit it is exactly but I suspect falcon's Fury will determine it for me.

Dr. Doom is out of my comfort zone so I doubt I will be launched at Fun Spot anytime soon. I can't make like a yo-yo any longer.

However being launched out of Hulk is on the menu as soon as possible I am sure.

Izzy & Disney Head have been to Kennywood. It's a great little park. A lot of the national Coaster enthusiasts visit it often for it's classic wooden coasters and classic rides. There's a few other older parks that are within a decent ride of Kennywood. Plus Cedar Point, Kings Island & Hershey Park are all within a three to four hour ride. I used to go to all of those often during my Coaster years. :)

Is there a reason why they are using this type of crane for this location?
Does it has to do with the space, the height of the structure, moving stuff over the Hogwarts express track? Does anyone know?

I don't think they'll need to be moving stuff over the HE track, it's tall enough to fit flatbed trucks underneath and into the construction entrance (which you can see in the maps screenshot). The same way they got that huge a*# crane in there, they'll drive all supplies underneath the track via that access road. If they need to lift supplies over the track they would have to shut down the ride while doing so.

After thinking about it more, this crane can be moved around to different spots and has a longer reach than a tower crane would have since those are stationary and cannot extend out. This lot is pretty big

Looks like they're going to build the guest facing sides of the building and then that's the last construction we will see.

Isn't it supposed to be a warehouse that we are going into? So it would kind of fit...

Does san fran have parking garages? Paint one of those bad boys up on the side and its even car themed. Just have some explosions going off on top every 30 mins like the ending from 7? with Statham and the Rock having that fight. In fact just turn it into a street show and people will forget they gave up a ride and show for just a ride.
