I would not consider any of those properties different from Nintendo. They're all rooted in 80s/90s nostalgia, or in the case of Kong, UOR nostalgia.

I guess you do have a point. As long as we do get some teenage/adult-oriented IP's like Classic Monsters and Fantastic Beasts, I'll be fine. This park has to have some stuff geared towards the older crowds.

Don’t think Japan is getting DK and I’m hoping with the move to new park the SNW grows a little.

There's also a chance that they'll put a second IP (Zelda or Pokemon) within the land as well.

If I had my pick for 5 lands:

-Nintendo as was planned (DK/MK/Yoshi) but add the DK Playground, Kirby flat/water area and Bullet Bill train
-Dreamworks (Shrek, HTTYD, Trolls)
-Monsters - because why not? It's their property.
-LoTR
-Wizard of Oz - Something to appeal to the older generation and the colors of the land and story just fit with a theme park if done well

I only expect 2 of those to come to fruition and I'd be shocked if there were 3.

They also need to find a way to put Pokemon somewhere. Whether thats USF or IoA or Park 3- they need to find a spot.
Zelda would be great, but Pokemon is a necessity.

FWIW, Yoshi kind of is a better version of what the Bullet Bill people mover was gonna be

1. Entrance/Hub (Water ride, Waterworld show)
2. Super Nintendo World (Mario Kart, Donkey Kong, Yoshi, whatever that shooting dark ride is, flat)
3. Classic Monsters (Thrill coaster, dark ride, drop tower)
4. Fantastic Beasts (Dark ride)
5. DreamWorks (HTTYD coaster, dark ride, Shrek dark ride, Trolls dark boat-ride, flats)
6. The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule (Water ride, dark ride)

Actually, TPU (who said no LOTR or Star Trek) said no generic lands or Hello Kitty.

He's said that he has sources before, not sure how accurate they are. But, personally, I doubt that we see Hello Kitty.

If anything is added to the Mario land that this park is getting I want Luigi’s Mansion. It may not be the biggest seller ever but it did well for itself and it is Mario’s brother after all.

Luigi’s Mansion is a good source for an interactive ride.
