I think, much like ToT, the ride has outlived the film/series/IP...A redo of the current iteration would be welcomed

Also, can they work on soundproofing things better? I hate hearing "Are you insane get out of here" when I'm in the Treasure Room

Yeah that audio timing is weird

I always assumed it was them pushing out as many cars as they can as fast as they can so the timing gets slightly messed up there.

Exactly what is happening...I feel the ride was designed with a slower dispatch in mind

If you want an example of audio tracks being horribly played over each other, look no further than the Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros' unload tunnel. There are three tracks that will overlap each other while you're waiting to get off. It is the worst.

But that Mayan Temple is so cool! You just have to close your eyes at the Donald parts.

I’m curious. You said that it was obvious that it was being worked on. How so?

Since the fake unload fire was down at the same time and eventually reactivated, we're assuming all fire effects needed renovating and they're turning them back on as they finish. That's the hope anyway.

The brain fire is still active in the fake unload station. If they were getting rid of the fire effects in the ride I don't think that one would still be active.

Must be. I've ridden Mummy once or twice a week for the last month and the fires been on every time, so downtime can't be TOO extensive.

Hi - long time lurker, but do I infer from above that all the fire effects are working again now? (going next week!!)

Just went on both Wednesday and Friday, fire in the treasure room was not working. It's working in the "fake ending" scene however.

I'd personally be sad to see this go; it's arguably the best ride in the entire park. If they could just give it a little TLC and fix all the weird timing issues with the effects, it would be perfect.
