Skull Island: Reign of Kong - General Discussion

I think if they’re not going to ever run it as intended again (ie no outside and removed 3D if this “test” is “successful”) then I’d rather they remove the ride. It’s a GREAT ride. I think it’s probably the most underrated ride at the resort as-designed. But no 3D and no outside ever again...

Skull Island: Reign of Kong - General Discussion

Hi it’s me, Mister Positivity! Yea this stinks and another in a sadly growing line of decisions that’s making me give side eye to UOR management right now. Has me pretty worried that if EU doesn’t hit its marks next year we might be looking at some lean times at UOR

Universal's Epic Universe General News & Discussion

On the EU landing page they have “coming soon” listings with Potter first, SNW second, HTTYD next, and Monsters last. I wouldn’t be surprised if that was the order

My bet is Potter is first.

    Dark Universe (Epic Universe)

Yea, I think the land over all will almost certainly be my favorite in the park... I just think the Dracula design does not look like Dracula. It looks like they put "Twilight + Power Rangers" through an AI art filter.

Mako has a ton of airtime. Height requirements also have more to do with the coaster trains as well.

I'm not surprised, it's only got the one inversion seemingly and nothing all that extreme.

I think Wolfman looks great. Basically just an updated version of the OG. Frank looks a bit over the top, and Drac just looks like he came from a rave Halloween party dressed as a power rangers bad guy. Maybe Lord Darkenon is giving him fashion tips

    Dark Universe (Epic Universe)

I think Wolfman and Frank are fine, if not a bit overdoing it in Frank's case. But man the Dracula is awful.

So far the non-theme park people I know who have talked to me about it say it all looks great except the name is terrible (true) and the Monsters designs are weird (mostly true)

That’s about the only thing I don’t like from Dark Universe so far. Dracula looks like an MCU villain

Yea, he’s in the big ride

Universal's Epic Universe General News & Discussion

Leave it to Universal to have a livestream reveal for their new park and not tell anyone beforehand That being said, this all looks great (minus the Potter land being incoherent), and very much a Universal version of TDS

The Future of Lost Continent (Poseidon Fury closing May 9)

It’s probably going to be a boat ride. I don’t know if I’d expect thrilling

The Future of Lost Continent (Poseidon Fury closing May 9)

It is the most Universal Parks and Resorts move to accidentally confirm a big project while making a social media post about another one

Nah, he was jonesing for some Minion Tots

The Future of Lost Continent (Poseidon Fury closing May 9)

For those that don't know, Zelda series producer Eiji Aunuma was in the Epic Universe instagram video Universal released and then deleted yesterday, and his inclusion was almost certainly why it was deleted.

The Future of The Simpsons Ride/Springfield (Orlando)

Pokemon also has the added parties of the Pokemon Company making decisions as well.
