    SeaWorld Orlando's Future Plans

You do realize this exact sentiment was shared many posts ago? In fact, this was what we were scratching at when we said that, the park should consider fully fledged experienced that incorporate animals to create unique attractions. You are the one who continues to debate whether or not...

    SeaWorld Orlando's Future Plans

Antarctica definitely is the best themed area out of the entire chain. It's very impressively done and is a work of art! The ride is fine for what it is, and for most of the GP as soon as they see the real penguins at the end, it makes up for the short ride time. Sesame Street similarly is done...

    SeaWorld Orlando's Future Plans

If I had to guess, I think IF probably had even more plans for animal habitats in the original design of the attraction. Ie. the sloth in the concept art, and the tropical birds in the trailer for the ride (which used to live in that area before IF). But yes, I totally agree with your statement...

    SeaWorld Orlando's Future Plans

SeaWorld San Antonio just got the new Turtle Reef area this past year, I wouldn't rule it out completely, but for the immediate future, I would say we're going to be getting more rides.

    SeaWorld Orlando's Future Plans

Couldn't agree more with the statement above. Sesame Dark ride and Wild Arctic Flying theater would really round this park out nicely. Then they can focus on major additions every few years and spend more capital on fully fleshed themed experiences akin to Manta, Verbolten, Cheetah Hunt, Cobras...

What's next for Busch Gardens Tampa??

Unlikely they will build a coaster that runs straight through the Safari, if anything any kind of hyper/giga would probably run along the west* side of the park.

    SeaWorld Orlando's Future Plans

I think this is pretty close to what we will actually see. I think the writings on the wall with Wild Arctic, it's not going to be in operation for much longer. Saw them counting the number of people the other week to check popularity. Hopefully it's replaced with a flying theater which they...

    Phoenix is being removed! (Rumor)

I could see a Zamperla Midi Discovery fitting in that area really well. They added one at SeaWorld San Antonio this year. The only other ride I could see fitting in that space is their "Hawk" model.

What's next for Busch Gardens Tampa??

And aside from that? The closest major attraction is Sheikra, if you're not including Sesame Street.

What's next for Busch Gardens Tampa??

Except it isn't really a dead spot though, there is a lot of animal attractions on that pathway. Penguins, animal connections, elephants, Animal Care Center and the Serengeti Outpost. The area is one of the more populated sections of the park. Yeah, it doesn't have a ride, but it doesn't really...

What's next for Busch Gardens Tampa??

There are so many other areas of the park that could use a new attraction, rather then give a dead end a new ride that you cant even see from the path, they should better flesh out some of the existing areas of the park. Most people wouldn't even realize that path used to lead to something...

What's next for Busch Gardens Tampa??

It just seems weird to give us a huge plot of land, for a potential attraction for something they could fit in so many different areas. I think the thought process is that there is no ride in that entire strip, but there really isn't a need to have one. I would keep that area as a strict animal...

Riptide Race at Aquatica Opening April 3,2021

Props to SW for really heavily investing in this park. These three years of new slides is really great. I know competition got a lot stiffer in the area once VB opened, but Aquatica is certainly holding its own. Age old saying, competition can be better for the consumer.

What's next for Busch Gardens Tampa??

I agree for sure, even a lot of the GP seem to be excited about this. Many of the locals/passholders remember Gwazi, so to see it revived is pretty cool for them too!

What's next for Busch Gardens Tampa??

In all honesty, BGT isn't doing that bad as it stands right now. Attendance is pretty solid and they've removed a lot of additional costs. In the future, I would like to see some of those costs returned, such as a bigger investment in their entertainment department. This is by far one of the...

What's next for Busch Gardens Tampa??

Yes, its possible, but the strategy SW is doing right now is not conducive to building a large B&M Giga. Fury 325 cost $30 mill, meanwhile a ride like IG is probably gonna be around a third of that. Right now they seem to be doing rides that are around $10 million or less, and have shorter...

What's next for Busch Gardens Tampa??

I have a hard time seeing BG opening up a Giga just two years after IG. That would seriously consume a large portion of funds for other attractions at parks that likely need the attention more. It is certainly possible, but I'm iffy.

What's next for Busch Gardens Tampa??

I don't necessarily think the park needs a new family coaster immediately, but more family rides especially flat rides, a transport ride, a dark ride or a flying theater. Something other than a coaster, but yes, down the line I think a new family coaster would be welcomed. I certainly agree...

What's next for Busch Gardens Tampa??

Yes, but if your flagship show and a major ride for the non-ride folk are down, there isn't much to do for them. They need more, even if the situation is only temporary.
