Annual Pass Block Out Dates- How to Attend?

My pass is blocked out on April 7 but my friends are trying to drag me to the WWoHP opening (really, really dreading going lol). Can I still purchase a general admission ticket to attend this day? Will my AP discount still work? The only information I can find on the website regarding blocked out dates is to upgrade to a higher pass, which is not feasible for me at this moment. Thanks!

They recently made the blackout day ticket $65, which was $10 less than the old $75


but first day of potter, im not sure it'll be that low. might be the $115 general admission
