I am wondering if anyone has used this service for EU attractions yet? I am curious about how it is going and if there are any hiccups thus far. Any issues?

It works identically to the other 2 parks. I haven't heard of any issues so far.

I will be bringing my wife in a wheelchair on our visit at end of June. She can walk short distances but has difficulty getting up if sitting down too far. To prepare I've been watching as many videos as I can to see which ride vehicles are going to be doable for her. Those where you can walk in and just be seated are doable compared to those you have to step down first.

For what it's worth, on our last visit I found all the TMs to be very helpful with special kudos to the crew at Hagrids.

I went for employee preview with a friend who is an employee who also has AAP on Wednesday. No issues. It was exactly the same as the other parks. Went up to a guest services kiosk in park and went through the same protocol.

Will be attempting to get the pass the morning of our Epic visit, is the guest services in the front really slammed? Is it worth passing it and trying to go to another guest services at another location?

The guest services at the very front had a longer line when we went so we went to one that was in a little kiosk that was a little further into the park than the guest services at the very front but not very far. I’m not great explaining directions lol but it is in Celestial Park right before you get to Pizza Moon/the bathroom near Pizza Moon/the Mario coin fountain. It’s closer to the carousel.

We are going up on Wednesday. My husband will be getting the assistance. We got the card via email and are still waiting for the call from Universal. I got an email 2 weeks ago saying they are prioritizing by arrival date, but after my meeting this morning I'm going to call and see what's going on. My goal is to stop by Wednesday afternoon/evening to the front of the park to see if we can do everything then so we can rope drop and make the mad dash to Super Nintendo World. I hope to update all when I get back next week.

There are concierge kiosks/huts near the front of every portal. They are staffed by Guest Services team members who can help with disability assistance.

Thanks everyone who commented on the additional guest service kiosks that can also help us with obtaining the pass!

I talked with the universal rep Monday. You have to do a call ahead of time if you want it to be quick at guest services. She had to fill something out and give me a case number. I asked if we could stop by tonight and pick up the card and she said if we had tickets for today we could but they probably won’t give it to me until morning. We are staying at Stella nova so going to swing by there tonight anyway and see what they say. They said if the line is 25 mins or less they send you directly through the alternate line. Anything over they give you a return time. I’ll report back Monday with our experiences. Fingers crossed for MoM! lol.

They scan your park ticket for the day and that's what validates the pass. If you don't have tickets for today/annual pass, I wouldn't bother trying.

Ahh thanks so much for the additional info. That helps a lot. They said the IAC pickup like is separate from guest services so it shouldn’t be a long line.

Separate line? That I am curious about cause I know at IOA and Studios it is all lumped together at Guest Services if there truly is a line for those who already have done "the call" and just pick up and go that sounds fabulous.

Yes there was a separate line for us this morning. We walked over from Stella nova at 8:30. I walked over to guest services and a sandwich board said preregistered IAC and no one was in line. She scanned our tickets and gave us the paper. Super simple

There's also a separate line at IOA/USF. There has been for months now.

We spent all morning Thursday in the parks. We started with the extra hour in Super Nintendo World. Mario and MineCart were both down. By 10:45, we moved to Dark Universe portal. We went with the group to Monsters Unchained. It broke down a few times while we were in line. We waited about 15 minutes before we got on the ride. We got almost to the end and it stopped at about 45 seconds to the end. We were there for about 20 minutes. We could see them working on the car in front of us pulling wires and stuff. We finally resumed with the lights on for a little bit and got an express pass on the way out. It could be used anywhere except Potter and MineCart. We saw Mario and MineCart were up so we went back to Super Nintendo. We went to Mine Cart to get a return time because it was a 60 minute wait. We used the express pass at Mario Kart. We went back to MineCart and it was down again. They validated our IAC paperwork and gave us an express pass that she said could be used anywhere. There were no restrictions on the back, so I assume it could be used at Harry Potter. After leaving Super Nintendo again, we went to ride the yellow side of stardust racers. It was 25 minutes, so we went right through express. Here is where we had the biggest issue I've ever had at a theme park.

My husband has an implanted stimulator so he can't go through metal detectors. We told the team member at the metal detector and told us to step aside and they called for a team lead. We waited about 5-10 minutes with plenty of people walking past us. Finally the guy who had the hand scanner was beside us and we said can you just wand him so we can ride? He asked the other team member and they scanned him but we still had to wait for a team lead. Finally 5 minutes later 2 people walked down to us and started asking all kinds of very personal questions about medical conditions and things that in my mind went way beyond what they needed to know. They finally said we could go through. Once we got almost to the station the same girl came running after us like we had done something wrong and started questioning my husband about his insulin pump. He kept saying to her it's attached to my body. She clearly had no idea what it was.

The ride was incredible. Best ride in the park that we got on. Unfortunately, the stress and embarrassment from the metal detector set off some of his issues and we had to go back to the hotel. All that to say, it is clear the team members need more training on people who are different at the metal detectors. We had no issue with going around the metal detectors at the front gates, but the ones at Stardust Racers was really really really invasive. I did share that information in the follow up survey we got via email.

Overall, while the IAC isn't like Disney where it's all done in the app (that really was nice), the process was very easy and every cast member was extremely compassionate and willing to go above and beyond, except the team lead and his friend at Stardust Racers. If you have any questions, please let me know.

I have a titanium hip joint from an operation. The doctor gave me a medical signed card that indicates the metal implant. I almost always set off the detectors wherever there's detectors, but I show them the card, and there's never been an issue.
