Central Florida Zoo plans $85M renovation over 20 years - Orlando Sentinel

That Safari Ride has gone the way of the Israel Pavilion. It was announced but never got built.

They plan to make a new entrance themed to Madagascar and make the inside of the park split into Americas, Asia, and Africa. The Bear Exhibit is also expected to be done soon.

I personally have doubts this ever gets off the ground in any significant way. The Zoo has tried to find big donors for years to fund projects like this, which it needs, but none ever seem to want to give the money.
