Back in 1982-ish was my last stay as a kid at the Contemporary. i have vivid memories of the arcade in what is now Bay Lake Tower. In my mind, this used to be the west(?) garden wing, and had a QS and tennis courts.

i also think there was a shooting gallery, much like the Fontierland Shooting Arcade. Was this a real thing, or am i getting my pre-teen memories mixed up?

i thought the effects were fantastic, but dammit i could barely hit anything! :p

You're thinking of the Fiesta Fun Center, which was quick service and an arcade with a shooting gallery. It was located where The Wave is now, in the main tower on the first floor at the back of the lobby. The Bay Lake Tower replaced the North Garden Wing.
