Hey folks, we are going to Discovery Cove for the first time next year and was wondering - how deep is their "lazy river". Is it something you can walk through, float through or do you gently swim? Thanks!

I'll be there this weekend but as it's been a few years, I don't remember how deep it is. Just that it wasn't "lazy" at all.

It varies, but there are some really deep parts, much deeper than a normal lazy river.

How exciting! I love Discovery Cove!

Some parts you can walk through and some parts you can float/swim through. The depth ranges anywhere from 3 feet to 8 feet - and if I remember correctly, there will be a sign when the drop-off is approaching.

You have the option to wear life vests and use pool noodles in Wind-away River.

Thanks for the responses, one out of our party of 4 can't swim very well so I wanted to make sure they were comfortable doing this

I know this is a little late but the wet suits that you wear are kind of floaty too.
