Here's a link detailing the projects. From the sound of things, it really seems like they're looking to put the screws to Universal.

All three will cost 1.5 billion in total, and from Katzenberg's verbiage they want to take Universal's thunder in Russia.

I'll be very interested to see how this turns out. The good thing is that it doesn't seem that Baker Leisure Group is involved (see Orlando Thrill Park, Hard Rock Park in its last two attempts to stay alive, etc.), so I have no doubts right now, but I may do a little more investigating on the backers of this just out of sheer curiosity.

This could be the start of something very exciting, a new global player in the theme park industry.

However, I reckon the plans will fall through and slowly die out, like many modern day attempts at creating new theme parks do. I doubt I'll ever make it to any of these parks even if they are made, unfortunately. This definitely has the potential, though, and good luck to Dreamworks.
