Is it just me or does this ride seem intense...spinning around that high up. Wow!

Looks like the vehicles will just be random sports car designs reminiscent of real world cars. I doubt they’re going to recreate actual branded car designs for the reason stated.

They’ll just use off-brands.

Huh, wasn't expecting them to start track installation there yet. Thought the valley between the stall and overbank would be next.

Trams are gonna get a nice view seeing a coaster pass by them like that. Exciting.

Any word on if they're going to be crazy about riding the roller coaster with empty pockets like they are in Florida or are they gonna be chill about it like every other california park, including their currents selves?

I believe someone mentioned that permits show it's going to have double-sided lockers just like Velocicoaster, so I'm guessing the former.

The ride will have the exact same set-up as Velocicoaster in regards to loose articals. Its Universal Policy that any coaster that travels over guests areas or has inversions will require guests to go through metal detection. The entire ground level of the station building is dedicated to the lockers and metal detectors.

This will be a first for a California park. It will be real interesting to see if other parks in the area implement similar policy's at their more extreme rides.

I expect there to be quite a bit of pushback from the GP. I don’t mind because for one thing I don’t want to risk it and two, it’s only one ride.

I don’t expect Knott’s or SFMM to implement that because they would literally have to invest in some serious $$$ in both parks to install metal detectors and hire guards to wand and pat people down. There’s no way they’re gonna invest all of that for 10 roller coasters.

I understand the policy and, obviously, safety is more important than guest comfort. But this is a really crummy guest experience.

Its way better than how its implemented at Hulk or Rocket. At least you get to keep your belongings with you for 90% of the queue.

If you want to see a really crummy guest experience, go to Cedar Point and look at Top Thrill 2. Not only do you have to go through metal detection, you also have to leave your items in a locker for the entire queue and the park makes you pay $3 to use their lockers. Six Flags Great Adventure also has a similar policy at Kingda Ka, El Toro, and Jersey Devil where they force you to pay for lockers and have nothing in your pockets for the entire queue.

Yeah, I don't mind the locker setup at Velocicoaster because you only have to give up your phone for the very last leg of the queue. At Hulk and Rockit, it's right at the start. Makes it tough to coordinate if you have non-riding companions.

Yeah, if it’s like Velocicoaster, I really have no problem with this system.
