I wonder if this coaster will have any moments of ejector airtime.

It should—there are a few moments where we can see from the fan simulations for now; that places like where a potential booster for the Immelmann and the potential booster to get people up the hillside should have the ejector as the trains need to accelerate to the top speed.

Such a good idea in a park that has so little space. Use the hill that you can't really put anything else on. Great thrills for a coaster and fantastic sightlines/views. I'm not a big fan of sparsely themed outdoor coasters in theme parks, but I like this choice.

The other good thing about this is that the IP doesn’t really demand anything highly thematic. You just need something Fast and Furious. Simplest but most effective choice for translating your big IP into a ride.

and that's what the fans always wanted in Orlando too, an attraction that was fast and furious. That Orlando attraction was mocked by most everyone before they even opened it. It did not satisfy the fan base.

Does this mean only 2 trains at a time total or 2 trains running the course with an additional 1-2 parked at the station/final brake runs for load/unload?

The fact the sound shields are being purposefully done to mimick that of the Starway's glass, is genuinely spectacular.

EDIT: More Concept Art that @salismetho didn't post on the main tweet.

DPing, but from Unagi on ParkFans: the coaster will be able to operate 4-5 trains total. I think the reason it specifies two, is because two would be on the course from the moment one clears dispatch; and then another one is cleared for dispatch when the first of the two trains hit a certain point (like say maybe a MCBR or the bottom of the dive loop booster?).

Wish @tommyhawkins could do a breakdown of the capacity, but one has to assume this will hit near 1.4K.

Tommy Hawkins hasn't been around for a pretty long time. Wonder what happened to him?

Unsure but I do miss his takes on things with themed entertainment. Hopefully he comes back.

Also--small bit but with the special events permitted, would the wise thinking be that this coaster could operate during HHN in a similar manner to The Purge: Dangerous Waters? Would make sense as it isn't promimently close to the neighborhoods like Terror Tram is.

With the fact that this is going to be a Controlled Spinning coaster (which is something else to talk about now officially); it'd be great to see this be able to run for as long as they can during HHN.

The page does specify two running trains, I can't imagine this thing only has 2 trains on the track total. There'd be literally no point in a dual-loading station, which this has, since this isn't a racing coaster. I think they just tried to word it deliberately to calm down neighbors as much as possible because they will HATE this thing no matter what. I'm glad that the park is really pushing to the limits of the Evolution Plan guidelines.

I know that info poster is for residents to know the details of what's coming but all that does is make the coaster sound awesome. It explains a lot of even if you're not looking for it all on one page. Compared to Orlando this ride sounds great!

It's crazy how nimble those workers can be in those machines.

The notice includes mention of special events. It looks like the put a lot of focus on the materials used in every aspect of this for soundproofing. Once Mummy leaves the park this would be the replacement for that ride during the event?

General question - when they were doing the sound tests and they were also building something small too right? What did that turn out to be or was it unrelated to this? I'm asking partially because I'm wondering if they were also doing material testing for the soundproofed walls they're using.

The outdated concept art had 4 cars of 4 seats each, so a 16-passenger train. If they aim for Velocicoaster's coveted 50-sec dispatches, that's only 1.1K an hour. However, a dual loading station might reduce the dispatch interval to somewhere between 35-45 secs so you could see as high as 1.6K an hour.

Obviously, that leaked concept art is no longer relevant, but they could still be using a similar train design.

While more of a fan interpretation, some have seen what we could be looking at with the MDC rotational, and depending on how it plays out it could be a very insane coaster for the forces at certain directions.

Cosmic Rewind + VelociCoaster. HOLY…..

This looks INSANE. Easily going to be a top 10. I’m beyond excited now!
