The outdated concept art had 4 cars of 4 seats each, so a 16-passenger train. If they aim for Velocicoaster's coveted 50-sec dispatches, that's only 1.1K an hour. However, a dual loading station might reduce the dispatch interval to somewhere between 35-45 secs so you could see as high as 1.6K an hour.

Obviously, that leaked concept art is no longer relevant, but they could still be using a similar train design.

That dual station is going to help out so much if it’s still included in the final plans. There will always be a train ready to launch! Velocicoaster dispatches could be faster if it had one or a separate unload platform.

A dual station at Velocicoaster was unfortunately not possible due to size constraints, but the ops team did a phenomenal job. The train clears each section in about 40ish seconds, and we've seen them get trains in and out in about 50 seconds, very impressive.

The biggest issue with F&F will be its short trains, but we shall see.

Not dual loading? I hope it works out but I really wish we had that

Feels like must with how bust USH is these days but we will see. My concern is express and if they are going to be sending out full coasters with only express backing up the normal line a great deal.

Express is going to be a huge concern. We haven’t even seen how it’s going to affect Mario’s slow moving line.

yeah, it's going to be insane for MK

And that has a dual loading station.

I know USH doesn't care but i wish attraction coming in factored in express but for me they don't seem to really at all. They just built the rides they want and if you want to get on quick buy express and if not...sucks to be poor.

I can't imagine them offering Express for this until the demand dies down. VIP tours may get it, just like MK, but I'm pretty sure that will be it for a while.

For a long time, SFMM didn't have WCR on their Express (well, for members, anyway). But after it was open for about 2 years, they did finally include it. And at the moment, WW:FOC isn't available on the basic Express either.

I'm sure USH will do the same, but it'll probably take longer for demand to die down

My point still is rides, I think should be built with express in mind

USH seems to be on a upswing and while maybe 2024 wont be as big of a year as this one, 2025 I think will be about the same as 2023 if not bigger and the cycle should continue from there meaning at most peak times these rides will just have insane wait times....because they didn't plan for express.

I understand USH will always sell express, my issue is houses/attractions that in no way seem to factor this in.

Guys, what are we talking about? They are building rides with known capacities. The issue with Mario Kart is not its theoretical capacity, it's operational mismanagement. Focus on that, not some nebulous idea that no one is planning for express.

Fast & Furious is supposed to have a dual loading station. That will help. But yes, the popular theme park is going to have long lines on many busy days. No amount of imagined capacity is going to change that.

How do you plan for express that would actually affect ride capacity? Theres only so many people that can ride it in a given hour.

A system where you had to reserve a time.

I hope Op's is better for coaster then MK is right now. Also just clarification F&F will have a dual loading station?

This will. The documents found by the ParkFans teams show the dual loading.

Cause Disney has been getting rave reviews for their ride reservation system.

Regardless, the ride capacity doesn't change no matter what express system is used. And whether its walk up express or reserve time express, the standby queue is held at some rate for express riders. Nothing in planning changes that.

At least Universal's new attractions in the past decade generally have had adequate, and high, theoretical capacities. Whereas Disney often has opened pretty low capacity attractions in many cases. So, I really have no issue with Universal when it comes to capacity on new rides. And generally Universal doesn't open an Express line on a new attraction until the new ride lines have gone down a bit. Hagrids at USF, open since 2019, still doesn't have one.

The line for Hagrids moves very quickly in my opinion that express really is not needed. The trains are constantly loading and there are several on the track at one time.
