Fast and Furious: Hollywood Drift coaster (Opening 2026)

At this point the only opportunity USH has to get a Hagrids scale coaster would more then likely be in the Falls Lake area if they can somehow procure it for park expansion.

Here is hoping they own WB and then can use up some soundstages and Falls Lake and in 30ish years times USH is unrecognizable to what it is today and over doubled the amount of attractions

Not to derail the thread, but If they relocate the Studio Tour, they have that plot of land to work with.

Fingers crossed that one day Los Angeles just gets consumed by a single corporate overlord that has bought up every single studio and corporation and we can just get one big park full of every single IP possible that reaches from Santa Monica to Orange County, Long Beach to Santa Clarita. And even with one giant park across over a quarter-million acres that would take months to fully experience, hopefully we'll all still be here to engage in conversations surrounding, "Ugh, why did they replace my house with that IP?"

Its December and we’re still in just “opening in 2026”. I’m gonna say February and even early March softs are dead. Wonder if this is a Memorial Day weekend thing…(then in a couple of days, Universal will randomly drop the opening date to make me look dumb lol).

This ride is going to be insanely popular. So much so that Six Flags is planning multiple ride installations at SFMM and Knott's to complete with it. A major win for Southern California after a nearly decade long dry spell.

As for the theming...I'm mixed. Some of the decisions are admittedly head scratchers, but considering they went with Fast and Furious, I'm curious at what people expected? And they did manage to give us the most insane trains ever on a rollercoaster imo.

The length of the ride is deceptive. If half of the ride was concealed by buildings or other elements, it wouldn't seem short at all. The fact that you can follow the track from launch to brakes continuously takes away some of the surprise factor.

Like X2, you simple won't get a true sense until you're on it.

Now that we're getting closer and closer to Hollywood Drift's opening date and Universal may announce the soundtrack for the ride one of these days (or they may announce it a day after Hollywood Drift unexpectedly opens in true USH fashion), what songs are y'all hoping to be a part of the on-ride soundtrack for this?

In all honesty, Gasolina HAS to be a part of this ride. I'd also love if Tokyo Drift, Act a Fool, Conteo, Danza Kuduro, I Won, and Go Off were all a part of this. Bonus points if they add in 'How We Roll' in remembrance of everyone's favorite Tram addition, Supercharged.

I just want to hear Wiz Kalifa at the final brake run. They can blast In the Thick of it for all I care. The songs that are indicative of the franchise aren’t generally my cup of tea.
