So I just heard some bad news. As we all know, the other day they tested this baby full bore (4 train/ all day). Well that test revealed at least 3 MAJOR problems. So my sources are saying that it will be at least a month before it opens. They could possibly push it to get it open by next week, but my source said that if they did, he wouldn't ride it.

Whoa there. Where is this info coming from? You usually are dead on with your sources but this one just seems, surprising and strange.

I can't actually say where I heard this from, but I will say that I trust his info is correct. And what is more annoyong is that he wouldn't tell me what the 3 major problems are. Only that they became apparent during the multi-train test they ran on Sunday. And that if they didn't take the time necessary to fix them correctly, he wouldn't be riding it.

Wow, I really hope this isn't true. I was actually getting border-line excited when I heard that it could possibly open this week...:bang:

Lots of sites are putting together all the possible errors that could have occoured. The most reasonable one i've heard is the dispatch times are off, It sounds easy to fix but if its being reffered to as "major" issues we gotta play the waiting game...

That's a bit ambitious.

But with the amount of crap this coaster has given it doesn't sound bad...

Dispatch times are off is the most logical one that I've heard. It's rather easy to fix though, and can be done manually, so I don't know what the problems could be.

FML.

That's *greatly over-simplifiying* the problem. It's *not* as easy as "dispatch times."

Yeah, I talked today with my source about the 3 problems he told me about. It is definitely NOT dispatch timing or break run spacing. He still wouldn't say what the problems are, but they are sounding to me more structural in nature. But there is a reason that there has been almost NO testing since Sundays 4 train test. And NO ONE has been on it since then either.
I am gathering these 3 problems are MAJOR issues.

Well that limits it down to:

1. The supports are going to collapse.
2. Everything else but the supports are going to collapse.
3. The Earth will supernova and later collapse to create a white dwarf where Rockit once stood.
4. The cars will fall off the track, and collapse.
5. God does not want this ride to open, so he will collapse it.
6. Universal has since said forget it, and will allow the ride to just rot and collapse.

Anyone have anything else?

I recall someone saying when they saw it testing with 4 cars they heard the lift constantly running even when cars were not climbing, This is the first time it was heard? Sound wierd maybe? Maybe the big magic, Anti-rollback lightshow lift can't take the strain of a constant stream of cars. MAYBE, When they took down the track again and reinstall they forgot some major elements that could take the 4 cars? Just brainstorming here...
