I would of loved to see the alternative layouts for the ride. From the sounds of it, it doesn't seem like they were given much time from the get go to really think of all the things you could potentially do with the coaster. Seems more like a blitz decision instead.

It was a very quick turn around from concept to construction. The alternate versions *really* aren't that different. Just sort of differently placed, VERY slightly. It's basically the ride it was planned to be, except early ideas called for it to actually open. :look:

My roommate who isn't into coasters asked if HRRR was open because he saw a commercial on TV saying it was. Does HRR have TV commercials?

I have not seen any TV commercials but I had heard radio adds a few weeks ago. None of which said that it was not open.

The Manager At Louis Pizza told me that when you start to hear rumors about Rockit TV commercials for two days, on the third day Team Members will get a private screening of the actual TV commerical.

I stopped by Universal on my way home from work and shot some video of the trains testing. They had two going as you can see, and I could faintly hear the music coming from the trains.

Or from a Tea Party with Josh's drunk aunts.

All that's ever been established - and honestly, I don't think anyone has ever asked for further clarification - is that the lighting patterns will vary. I can tell you they will not flash synced to music, because you likely will have 12 different audio tracks playing on the train at a given time. Each train was supposed to have a different light pattern, though.

The ride segues between strobe patterns by element rather than from the audio track. So for example you'll see a different light show in the treble clef than you will in the jump cut. Rumor has it that each individual train will have a unique sequence, so everything you end up seeing with will be a surprise.

Another cool thing about the LEDs is that they're "smart" in a sense. For example if two X Trains are parked in the station, the train parked behind the first will pick up it's light pattern and display it on its own train. So for example in Rainbow mode, the colorful wave from train 1 would seamlessly continue onto train 2 as if they were combined.

The Manager At Louis Pizza told me that they can't run two trains because if they do Jimmy Neutron will catch fire.

The character, not the attraction.
