They only way they can make this a movie is if they just adapt KH1 or tell a new story in the universe (prequel or side story) as trying to make a movie based on anything after KH1 is definitely too much for a 1-2 hour film

IMO, because of the world building of the KH series, it would work much better as a D+ series. Since this is still rumors at this phase, maybe they will still go with the D+ series.

Agreed, I don’t see how this would work as a movie unless 90% of the Disney stuff gets cut.

Part of me thinks this will be more similar to that of Advent Children in a compendium film that isn’t required viewing. Maybe a story on Kairi as she trains with Aqua as her teacher?

Also wonder what Tetsuya Nomuras role is in this.
