Sync Magic Bands to Credit Cards?

Simple question. Everywhere on the Disney site, I see that you can sync it up to your room and put the charges on your room. What if you're not staying in a hotel? Can I still link it up to my credit card? Or load it up with a cash value?

I've also read somewhere that if you place your magic band on the game pad while playing in the Toy Box Mode in Disney Infinity, you unlock something cool!

spendingone via room key actually saves them a lot of money and also bypasses many of the restrictions placed on credit cardS. I did quite a bit of research into this for a product I was developing.

Ah, I won't bother with them, then. Would have been worth the money if they allowed us to leave the wallets at home.

Using them makes it a lot easier than having to find your card to get into the park and to use your fastpasses, as you just scan your wrist band and go.

Is there any verification when these are used to make purchases? What happens if you lose it and someone racked up a bunch of charges onto your bill?

No notifications just like using a room card doesn't send notifications.

When you use your arm band there is definitely information that comes up for the cast member. I'm not sure how much information and if it comes up every single place, but I know for sure at least at the hotels it does. Me and my wife took a trip to Epcot a couple of weeks ago for the Flower festival. When I would re-enter the hotel parking area at night after being away for the day, I had to roll down my window and they had to swipe my arm band. One night I accidentally wore my wife's armband instead of my own and the guy at the gate said "Thank you ***" and then he had a weird look on his face, realizing he had just called me a woman's name. And then he started making jokes about maybe I need to shave and maybe add a little eyeliner. It was one of the highlights from our last trip.

Also, they use the armband for EVERYTHING. Entering the parks, entering the fastpass lines, etc. etc. And more than once they would call me by my name.
