No opinion yet....but I always put credence in , 'beware of POV's'. They can't duplicate the real experience. I'll reserve judgement until I can actually ride the attraction.
Glad you took this discourse bullet and not me!With all respect to Drew and anyone else who enjoys the ride, I am not surprised that the guy who spent five months meticulously documenting the attraction's completion really likes said attraction.
Well yea. But I’m happy for him. I’m never one to discourage joy. With all respect to Drew and anyone else who enjoys the ride, I am not surprised that the guy who spent five months meticulously documenting the attraction's completion really likes said attraction.

I’m sure yall will be adding that context after I film myself with tears streaming down my face standing in Celestial Park for the first time too lolSure, I don't want to yuck anyone's yum. Just providing context for those who maybe aren't as plugged into Twitter.
"No I'm not crying, it's just mist from one of the bazillion fountains"I’m sure yall will be adding that context after I film myself with tears streaming down my face standing in Celestial Park for the first time too lol
If I see a woman crying inside Toadstool Cafe, I’ll know it’s you!I’m sure yall will be adding that context after I film myself with tears streaming down my face standing in Celestial Park for the first time too lol
Splash Mountain was seeing an above average amount of downtime prior to it's closure... did they really not fix underlying issues? Or is it something else?
Seems like on everyday of previews there has been downtime
I've seen a few comments saying they didn't fix the ride system other than basic maintenance but IDK how accurate that is.
I'm sorry what.I've heard there was a BIG push to open for summer despite needing more time for ride system repairs. Stories I've heard from the first two days of CM previews seem to support this with quite a bit of down time. Apparently also there is no "B mode" so if any of the animatronics is down the ride is down.
Yeah I am no Splash Mountain fan and only been on it once myself, but the POVs I saw of this makes the water look really brown and cloudy...which I don't remember or didn't notice as much when I rode Splash or watched POVs...So is the water supposed to be brown and are they intentionally holding back the rushing water effect on the drop?
