This makes good business sense and carries the added benefit of spreading crowds out more evenly throughout the week as they pivot to become more of a regional park for the time being.

This is permanent. Disney has been using this model for a while now, so Universal just caught up.

I assumed so. I don’t know if I love this model of pricing, so I was happy that Universal wasn’t doing it while Disney was.
