USH trip in the fall

Hi, I have a question about USH refurbishments--I know that Disneyland usually has several attractions that go into refurbishment every fall, once the summer crowds die down.  Does Universal typically do the same?  My wife and I are planning a trip to USH for either end of August or mid-September, but since it's our first trip to Universal, we didn't want to miss out on anything, especially with there being a smaller # of total attractions compared to Disneyland.

If they do have attractions close, is it more likely it would be after Labor Day weekend?

Every year, usually right now actually, some of the attractions undergo refurb. When you go in, it should be fine. They'll be preparing for HHN so you should be fine for everything in my experience.
