Oh I agree they got me excited how they'll pull stuff overall, I'm actually glad that I got the unmasking this year because I was debating on it, I'm going to find myself slow walking and trying to figure everything out haha

Really hoping this is on the 6-house! Debating booking the 3 too for better odds. But so excited for Fallout, it's my most anticipated for sure

As someone who loves Fallout, and lives in Philadelphia, I really wish they had spelled “Filly” correctly. Lol.

I was under the impression that this would likely be on the 3 house as a "selling point" for people to buy both - like TLOU was on the 3 house tour

God I hope so. There is no way that the facade is only the glued on art on the tent like Bloodlines, it would be a massive missed opportunity to not make a Vault door the main entrance.

I kind of assumed this house would follow The Last of Us’ method. When they do this poster type entrance, I can sort of just give them a pass and consider the facade whatever scene follows the front door. Could still be a true facade inside (like Monsters last year), or could truly follow TLoU and give you the poster just to get plopped into a scene. Hopefully a true facade though!

Hopefully it is the former, I just don't see the point of the banner/poster when you can instantly immerse and hype people up with a huge vault door facade similar to the Goblin's Feast tavern like last year. The poster makes sense when there is a lack of space for it or the entrance is in an awkward spot like Last of Us being on the corner of the parade building, but this location has more than enough room.

The facade isn’t a vault door because the show doesn’t start with entering a vault door. Lucy is born in the vault. The vault will likely be the second or third scene when she leaves the vault.

So we're REALLY starting from the beginning, huh? I assumed we'd just be entering the Vault right into the middle of the Raider attack.

HUGE missed opportunity imo.
The first scene in the show is Cooper seeing the bombs go off and trying to get his daughter to a shelter in time. I wanted to hear klaxon sirens and announcements telling me to take shelter as i approached a huge vault door with people filing in. I don't want to just LEAVE the shelter once i'm inside the house. I wanted to walk inside the damn thing from the beginning.

Whoever decided El Artista apparently needed three facades while Fallout gets none should be demoted. 10 bucks says USH gets a facade... It's pretty funny that they talk about park-wide IMMERSION and then pull this crap in the same sentence.

And this is a weak-ass excuse when we could have gotten something legendary and memorable for people to see as they approached. Now we get a poster. Whoop-dee-freakin-doo.

I'm not only allowed to have an opinion, Saint, i'm allowed to be disappointed when something i care about isn't matching my personal expectations that i know are within their ability to execute flawlessly. I'm literally asking for a door to be a door here. I don't think that's a tall ask. People can say it's a story reason, people can say it's a budget reason, people can come up with whatever excuse they want for Universal, but that doesn't mean i have to like it. A house can be a lot of things for a lot of people and everyone gets to decide what measures up to how well they thought that house was executed. I'm allowed to start my measuring with the facade being lackluster as hell, especially for an IP like fallout.

I know you're laughing, because it probably is funny for someone who doesn't care as much, but I've been playing fallout games for 20+ years. You know what you're doing here and we literally all know how you react to people telling you to calm down. I know this is rage bait but this is some real ish calling the kettle black, dude. the next time i see you rage about something on this forum, you can see a quote coming your way. lol

Throwing it out but, Eternal Bloodlines had the wrapped exterior but as soon as you entered the building you got an immensely impressive starting facade on the inside.

The new Sprungs, atleast for IPs, seem to borrow on a similar logic to how Hollywood had it for SS747 and SS22, where they couldn’t *really do much* for the external IPs, atleast for outside the building. I imagine this is what Orlando had to figure out on immediately what’d be the start of the house.

Additionally it’s not like we won’t see the vault door, probably means they’re gonna save it as a big moment for once you get past the Massacre.

I think my issue is genuinely not understanding how big the new tents actually are

They are really, really big. When I took the 6 house tour last year, the guide mentioned that a good chunk of the space available for the house was unused, and you could sense that with last year's houses there. The vertical element is definitely plussed in these tents.
