Yeah but I started mentally counting how many faults can send that thing into a stop/the weight of the vehicles.

Didn't they try and make a similar system for an Ironman attraction but the cable thing didn't work out?

So the inverted patent essentially sounds like it'd be Ministry/SCOOP, but the motion base comes from the top?

ET, but as a SCOOP, essentially?

That sounds like utter heaven. I don’t even get how that’d work.

I was talking about the hybrid trackless-to-coaster Mack system Alicia refers to in her video.

Oops. I meant to reply to HHN Maddux's post above yours. My bad.

Man, it's been awhile since I've seen this. This felt so possible back then haha.

How would this have even worked? What would the test seat look like? Probably for the best this ended up on the cutting room floor. :nervous:

Not to change the subject and I’ll admit this is a pretty Disney-coded idea, but…

Could we see a Creature or other Dark Universe expansion attraction open in 2031 to coincide with the 100 year anniversary of the Universal Monsters?

(Yes, I know there were silent-era monsters, but it didn’t become a “brand” until Frankenstein and Dracula were both released in 1931.)

I think they could make it a major marketing bonanza with 100 year merch and they could even play the movies outdoors at the hotels. Maybe also brush up Monsters Unchained for the occasion.

Maybe it’s wishful thinking!
