A lot of work has been done since we've been gone. Today, track was being transported into the former Rhino Rally water portion site. The track for the canyon run is complete as well. The third trench is receiving it's rebar for the concrete slab. Work is also progressing around the station area.
Many thanks to our artist, and newest resident Steelman, a 12-year old male cheetah. He recently moved to Busch Gardens Tampa with his roommate Ngoma from White Oak Conservation Center to be a part of the all-new Cheetah Run. He is one of 250 cheetahs in The United States, and is part of the Species Survival Plan through the Association of Zoos and Aquariums.
Nothing new to report on today. The place was quiet and the only noticeable difference was that the rebar for the other side of the third trench is down. I also don't expect much if at all any work done for the next two days due to Christmas Eve and Day.
