No way do I work for UC. I am a sub sub sub contractor to a something that required my presence for something computer digital of which I might have a key input if the something gets the contract. It is totally unrelated to theme parks per se. About as boring as a coke machine... but customized. So, no... nothing to wash your undies over.

Really, I have no idea what it all was of. It was just 'ye olde' medieval looking stuff. And it looked like a room in progress rather than a storage room.

The caveat in your statement is "we still think". Fact is, none of us know exactly what the schedule is. Too, there were many models and paintings of the current WWoHP LOOOOONG before much of it was engineered, some dating back to 2004 and 2005. Most engineering plans were made long after the announcement in 2007.

I always assumed Uni would wait for the next phase until attendance started to drop. Give everyone a chance to see phase 1 and then make them double dip. But how low of attendance do you wait for? I'm guessing the aim is to complete it before it completely bottoms out.

It'll be open by 2015. It's what I've said from day 1, and the info that has been leaking for months makes me stick by it.

What info??? Teebin found a work in progress model, so what? There has been no other info, and that alone does not mean a 2015 opening. It'll be at least a year or two later.

Can you give me a recap of these things? I haven't been here in months and haven't kept up

Basically that the expansion will encompass the leftover Arabian section of LC, Mythos and PF will be left alone. It will possibly push out towards the temp bridge, and it will be built sort of like a triangle, with a path leading towards the front of what is currently Sinbad, which will be Gringotts, and then turning left and going towards the current Hogsmeade, with some sort of transitional tunnel or something to connect the two lands through "magic"

I think he meant evidence that Jungleship had that the expansion would be open by 2015.

^ Yep, and if someone says that they know for a fact... then they are not telling the truth. Nothing is confirmed until it is green-lit announced. Until such time... any projects under creative development can be derailed and ditched.

I just don't see it happening any time soon, I reckon an opening date of at least 2015 if not 2016/17. I'd much prefer JP/Toon Lagoon got some new rides/updates first!

I think in general, the next big expansion for IOA will be Potter whenever it happens. That's what Universal thinks people want, and it'll have a bigger potential payoff.
