And I owe it to them as they skim through the pages and hopefully see this. They are amazing and I only post about 20% of what the reliable ones tell me. I've also learned through some major trial and error with other contacts, when it comes to Universal very few almost none know what I do. Hopefully somebody could back me up on that. I'm not going to post everything I get anymore. Due to recent errors in Transformers and Madagascar I'm going to be very selective.

I am right there with you. It is best to know where your sources strengths lie. Good Disney sources are not necessarily good Universal sources. I have been "burned" so many times recently that I am just going to sit back and watch things unfold without saying much online. Things are flying around and apparently most of it is horse****.

Even though I have less reliable and fewer sources than both of you do I'm starting to sort them out. Apparently, I was also burned with Transformers. Oh well, what are you going to do.
I believe part of the issue is that UOR has sooooo much going on right now that everyone want's to be part of it. You know, they have one little piece of info and want to be a "source".

I'll back you up :)

I wasn't around these boards a year ago, but given what I know the Transformers / HHN battle and decision was an interesting one. I dare say everyone was correct in one way or another.

If anyone in Florida is on site in the next few days and there are people repainting the thing (stone theme paint)... please call out to the painters or anyone you can get close and ask why it was redone and what the changes are from the last time they finished up. And if you are good at harping, keep harping until you find out what the difference is from the previous form. I promise that if I were there I would harp their ears off. I have done it before!

^I can just picture this: Some theme park nut in the crowd shouting at the workers. The crowd of GP would stop and the looks on their faces will be priceless!

They made the rock taller is what I was told. They are OBSESSIVE about this stage for some reason. They've changed the dimensions of the rocks several times and the floor of the stage has been changed 3 or 4 times as well.

Seldom is there anything done in the design world that is stupid. It might be over-thought or misguided, but never stupid. It could be just the slightest modification that might change our perception of things. This is why I am fascinated by what it is they have changed; grossly fascinated.

Could it be where they announce phase 2? It's a logical explanation of why something that seems so insignificant be actually pretty important...

Very good question. Although I imagine they'd make the most out of the photo op and have Hogwarts in the background.

You have to understand just how important every little detail is to the WWoHP. You know how you buy a new heavy sofa that's a pain in the ass to move and your wife tells you "it'd look better a little more to the left, no the right, no the left, just a little more to the right"?

It's the same game with JK Rowling/Warner Bros. They are the wife in this relationship. They get what they want and Universal is the husband that almost throws out his back making the sofa look good.

For perspective, the rails in front of the castle that were added before Christmas season cost Universal the price of a new Mini cooper because the rails are made by one company and only one company and only for the WWoHP.

Yet, they don't care about basic show issues.

The rock was fine the last time. But if Uni/WB/JKR want to nitpick at such a detail and make it look as aestechically pleasing as possible, more power to them.

Maybe I worded it poorly, but the exposed shoebuilding of FJ from Hogsmeade and the greenhouse is far more egregious than this stage pillar.

And these seemingly have easy fixes. Yet they don't seem to care.
