Thanks for the pics, guys!

I understand that this is a focal point, and the backdrop for the two shows... but does this monolith really warrant this much attention? :inquisitive: It looked fine the last time

If only Hasbro cared half as much about Transformers as WB/JKR care about Harry Potter.

Seriously. At least Matt Groening cares about the Simpsons property enough.

From @TomAmityCorless Universal: "How do you build a stage?"

I find it funny that something like this is nitpicked by JKR/WB, but the show building has been visible for going on 3 years now....and let's not forget Dragon Challenge....

We are at a theme park. I'm sure she understands that Dueling Dragons was there long before it was ever "Dragon Challenge". The coaster itself is not noticeable at all unless you look at the entrance to it. And even then, it's cleverly hidden behind the archway and wall.

We cannot be sure how far these design execution decisions go up the ladder. I cannot imagine JKR has much to do with it short acknowledging the observations of a sub art director. The question then becomes who is the liason art director and who do they work for; WB, JKR, or an independent under contract to Universal?

Addendum: ON second thought... we are right in the throws of phase II so it could be that this stuff passes Stuart Craig's or an 'Alan Gilmore's' desk along with all of the new creations.

This is my thinking as I can't get a name as to who said it didn't pass. All I got was it didn't pass and required an immediate revision with supervision.

These guys need to take a look at the FJ extended queue and show building visibility before they start throwing tantrums over a rock pillar. Lets be consistent in our quest for perfection guys. And the show building doesn't bother me, but if we're going to make this much fuss over a stage, lets get everything up to snuff.

Much agreed. Except, the show building does bother me, and it has bothered me all along.

Yeah basically there are bigger issues than this stage, but unfortunately more people see the stage than they see the entrance to DC and the uncovered show building.

I understand corners were cut in phase 1 and the extended queue was a late addition, but its time to make those right now.

I want to point out that one of the two people Teebin mentioned were on site and disapproved of the product. Said person will see this round through since he doesn't have to rush home for a special delivery

And I owe it to them as they skim through the pages and hopefully see this. They are amazing and I only post about 20% of what the reliable ones tell me. I've also learned through some major trial and error with other contacts, when it comes to Universal very few almost none know what I do. Hopefully somebody could back me up on that. I'm not going to post everything I get anymore. Due to recent errors in Transformers and Madagascar I'm going to be very selective.
