Oh $#!%. I wondered if they would use a Pepper's Ghost effect for this. I really didn't expect it to look that good.

Everything coming out looks so incredible! I'm excited for this in a way I haven't been for years and years, like the way I felt when I was little and my parents would tell me we were going to Disney World.

THANK YOU UNIVERSAL, WB, JKR, ETC.! You are all my heroes!

Ok so the effect is seen and noticed by the people waiting in line, not necessarily by the people going through it.

Pretty interesting how its done and seen from that angle, I really want to see a picture of video of someone actually going through it.

I can't get over how awesome the dragon looks.

Interesting to hear the rumor of Spielberg being on site, considering he was considered for the Potter films and rejected by JKR. (as I have come to understand it)

Yeah, it is very interesting that Steven Spielberg is there! Praise goodness the HP franchise didn't fall into his hands. According to Screen Rant, Spielberg wanted to condense the HP books and create an Pixar-esque animated franchise. BLECH!!

I have a theory...Maybe Speilberg just happened to be on-site for follow-up meetings regarding the IOA Jurassic Park expansion. After all, the Jurassic World movie will be released in 2015. So Spielberg just stopped by Diagon Alley to see what all the fuss was about...

No no no... Spielberg is a big shareholder (of sorts) in the Universal Parks. He was heavily involved in the creation of IOA.

Cool to see the flame happen in video form! Too bad the person nearby was screaming so much, I wanted to hear if there were sound effects of the dragon. It was hard to tell.

Edit: In the second video there was no screaming. I still could not tell if there were audio effects, or if the only sound was from the flame itself.

Probably the same people who aggressively shot down everyone who gave earnest information they had heard that the land was behind.

Im actually pretty glad, though. I'll be out of town for the next ten days...I know now that I should be able to squeeze in some soft openings by the time I get back.

Yeah... cuz, you know, Gringotts is totally open and ready now for everyone, which means it couldn't possibly still be having problems...

This is literally killing me, it's actually painful right now. Busy at work all day but to come home to this is genuinely incredible. Absolutely astounding. And that massive freaking fireball! NO WAY! :'( :doggie:

It appears the dragon is completely stationary, not a surprise, it was expected. But some people were wondering if there would be some minor movements. Probably the right call, we don't need a disco dragon.

Look very closely at the second mp4 video they posted of the dragon breathing fire. His head moves a little bit.\

EDIT: Nevermind. That was the video having some weird divide in the picture.
