Usually a very reliable source, as ever nothing is set in stone but I'd stick my neck out on this one. Watch this space.

I am not sure if a lapbar would be save enough with the way Hulk twists, but then, I think B&M has lapbars that also lock your legs in. Most likely though we'll see the new vest type restraints. In any case, it will be nice to have all new trains.

Wicked Cyclone at Six Flags New England (Rocky Mountain Construction) has lap bars exactly like that and not only were they extremely comfortable (after being ball-busted by the TM checking the restraints of course), but they allow for great air-time. Not that Hulk has too much of that, but they were nice.

I'm excited for what changes will come to the launch. If on-board audio is also coming, I'd love to see how the launch scene translates its audio to the vehicle and, subsequently, what audio will be used.

Are the theoretical new restraints any more fat guy compatible than the current seats?

Does restraints seem nice, would be cool if they did something like this on Hulk.

I think we're getting the vest restraints, but I'd be cool with lap bars only.

The project is still murky but the outlines are shining through.

Was at IOA yest just wandering past Hulk when I heard a a mum telling her kids that Hulk was closed as Disney had made them do it and were moving it to DHS ! Sigh, after she managed to draw a small crowd who were asking why etc, I had to interject (and deflate the mad woman) by saying no Hulk was not going it is just having a near year long refurb and will be back better than ever, she stared and me and goes " and where did YOU hear that from ?" "I read the press release that Universal put out about Hulk closing for an update" then walked off as she did her best fish impression lol.

You could have also just pointed over to the sign on the construction wall that says the Hulk will return in 2016, lol

The magic maddening Disney dust floats everywhere. If the Russians could replicate it, it would be the perfect Doomsday weapon.

Hulk angry if not true. I'd love just lap bars. But the vests wouldn't be bad either.. those would be what Wild Eagle has right? I thought they were fine when I rode but what are some of the criticisms the vests get?

Some of you guys kill me. I would be just fine with a vacuum-bag full-body restraint... with handcuffs and leg shackles. :(

When Gatekeeper opened with them, they ratcheted tighter during the ride. I never rode it like that, but apparently was painful to a lot of people. They've fixed it since then, but I think a lot of the criticisms come from that first season. Not all the complaints of course. Personally I love them compared to typical OTSRs.

I salute you, mister LieutLaww, pragnating Disney soccer mum's with Universal truth. Staging her as a lying helper of "the kingdom", that would be delighted to have such a magnificent coaster in their possession, in front of her offspring. Why not ask where she got her wisdom from, her bottom?
But seriously there is a man on the new Universal facebook page that kept on saying he was sure Universal had a huge plot of land behind the convention building at Idrive and they where going to build a third park on it.

But I'm stil wondering if the theming of the ride will be more movie like or still comic like, wil lthe nets return. Anyone knows how big the budget is?

I thought the facts that i preached were enough without asking for her sources (prob a Disney bus driver :P) Also I am a fan of both Uni and Disney but when people start telling outright lies well you gotta step in. I would guess they are going for Marvel Movie look which will help bring even more money to the park.

Ok guys, we get it, the lady was wrong either because of being told wrong or having incorrect assumptions. Lets not turn this thread into a bashing of her.
