Here ya go... this is what I was thinking:

I figure that if we can't walk it, we might as well ride it. Both the beginning and end would have to be underground to leave those important paths open. The upper outdoor tiers would remain open to guests.

I was thinking it would go under the service road next to the Discovery Center, the first floor if you will, and take over parts of the old Triceratops Encounter that the Raptor Encounter isn't using.

I know its blue sky but I doubt they would ever build on the waterfront area. It's a prime spot for a fireworks viewing area.

With all the talk about what IP's are available for the 3rd gate, I can't see them blowing the Gyrosphere idea in IOA. I think it can be done much better with a blank slate.

I must be the only person over the gyrosphere idea. Its a great idea in theory but the execution of it probably won't work. I mean will they be like in Jurassic world where you are allowed to roam (probably not), then capacity for each sphere (in the film it was two people in a sphere), then clastrophobics being in a tight enclosed place...

It just seems to lead to more problems to make a serious awesome unique ride that already isn't established with the river adventure. If anything, I would suggest them opening up the baby dinosaur petting zoo. Make it so kids can ride them, touch them and "feed" them.

Gyrosphere ride could actually work using a trackless ride a la Antarctica, on the other hand I am not sure how well this would work outside.

If they can make the bubble of the gyrosphere a believable screen, the possibilities are endless.

Unless a jeep ride appears in Jurassic World 2, I wouldn't hold my breath.

Jurassic World made all its money because of nostalgia for the original.

I've seen some things about Mummy being demolished at USH and creating more room for a Jurassic World Retheme......any chance if it does get rethemed that it is a test run for a new Jurassic World expansion/Ride?

I'm just so surprised at the lack of significant Jurassic expansions - we know many were planned over the years, but all fell through. With Universal looking to truly expand the Jurassic brand with Jurassic World and its sequels, I wonder how the parks will react given the lack of room being stuck between Kong and Harry potter.

That said, I do think exploring the Gentle Giants petting Zoo as an attraction could be really cool and doable. One way or another, Jurassic Park is a nice part of IOA, but its attractions feel dated. I would love to see a refresh of the dinosaurs to give it the accuracy, love and wow factor that the Wizarding World received.

On another note, the trailer for Universal Japans 'The Flying Dinosaur' raised a question:

It has some really nice 3D models, including a Spinosaurus and Velociraptor.. do those exist for an attraction at any Universal parks, or might they be used in a future one?

Love that trailer. That would be a hell of a ride if it was like those scenes.:)

Any word on when and where the removed Jurassic Park gate is going back up?

The ride looks like fun.. now if only it ends near a lagoon with a Mosasaurus..

What I want (said this before) is a launched flying coaster/ dark ride combo set inside the aviary. I watched JW again last night, aviary scene is so perfect, start slowly with a dark ride portion, then have the helicopter crashing leading to a launch, takes you out of the dome, then dives back inside etc.

I've always thought a vertical launch on a flying coaster would be amazing. The launch would feel similar to being on Dr Dooms.
