Maybe they have more furniture in the rooms? I keep seeing this posted that the SF rooms feel small.

CBBR=300 sq ft
SFR=320 sq ft
RPR = 335 sq ft
HRH= 375 sq ft
PFR = 450 sq ft

These are the standard rooms

Could be the bathroom is larger in some so the room feels smaller or they have more/larger furniture but the base steps up as you would expect

Yeah, I only stayed in a CBBR Standard Room once. Never again. The family suites are definitely worth it and usually aren't much more.

My entire apartment is 560 sq ft. I'm not going to complain about a 320 sq ft bedroom and bathroom.

I can't believe they're building another garage, that one at Sapphire Falls is so huge.

I would think that part of the Sapphire garages is to compensate for the convention complex crowd?

I can't believe they already filed a permit for it. Not wasting any time.

They need more rooms - they are booked! - SF garage was built before the hotel as well.

Makes me wonder if they may try to have the parking lot for Adventura opened before the hotel is even open so there is more parking capacity for Sapphire. The question to me, is where the hell will the new parking structure be..

nethertheless, I have a strange feeling that Adventura will be open at an extremely fast pace.

I would have to imagine given the limited space at universal, expansions, and overall growth, that they should build up any new parking garages assuming they will need them in the long run.

Yea, if TP's daily crowd calendar is indicative of attendance, WDW had a terrible August. January type line levels, low moderate levels, most every day of the month. In contrast, Universal's attendance looked pretty healthy, high moderate to busy, most days.

I see Seth Kubersky (of Touring Plans and Unofficial Guide to Disney) just "liked" this post. I would guess that indicates that the attendance at Disney wasn't pretty for August.

I doubt all 1000 rooms are available but even with the additional rooms, it shows that this 6th hotel and the towers need to be fast tracked.

Is the hotel opening in phases? I thought it was all ready to go in July.

I would be willing to bet that if you tried that same search at Walt Disney World they would show you availability at all of their resorts.

Universal is playing for all the chips. And it would be in Disney's best interest if they stop viewing Universal as if it's the autistic kid up the street. Universal isn't fupping around.

If you think about it, the CBBR expansion was started only a few months ago. This could go up relatively quickly.

So interesting note, Universal/Loews sells their rooms in lengths-of-stay blocks. They reserve a small percentage of rooms for stays of 1 night, a bigger percentage for 2 night stays, and so on. I forget the exact circumstance where I needed to change reservation nights/number of nights and the representative told me that they had no more 1 night stays available for the night I wanted it, but I could extend to a 2 night stay (or longer) for either the night before or after the one I wanted.
