I’d wait til the next refurb before we start getting worked up over it. Sometimes things break and are not addressed until those downtimes.
Didn’t they just do one?
Knowing Universal, it could be years. Or tomorrow.

I know, which is why I said ruined rather than broken. Better show is never a waste of money in my book. The waste was when they tried to fix what wasn’t broken in the first place. To be fair, that effect isn't broken. It's just a bad side effect for their efforts to trying to plus the ride. I don't think there's an easy fix to it other than going back to the old projections, which would just be a waste of money.

Yay!According to some posts on the UOAP page, the fire is back in the Treasure Room.
Considering where projection mapping is now, you'd think an update would have already happenI haven't ridden this ride in about two years, but one thing that would increase the longevity of the ride would be to refurbish the "There is no escape" scene, and sync the scene with the bugs at the right time. Also the screens could be higher resolution. The brakes are an issue, but I'm talking more about the theme of the overall attraction. While the quiddity of the ride still attracts guests, the quality of the screens are lacking their full potential
CONFIRMED! Fire is back. Just rode it.
YESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!! This makes me almost irrationally happy. Thank you to our intrepid administrator for relaying the great news and to CMParts for the boots-on-the-ground confirmation.Praise be fire!

It has been for the last six months.I don't think this thread is about the Treasure Room fire. Lol.
Can we talk Black light mummy cutouts with projectionsWhat’s the next mundane issue we can complain about for another half year? I’m getting withdrawals already.
Or the turntable room. Can we talk Black light mummy cutouts with projections
Honestly, the harsh brakes are part of the charm of the ride for me. While I do brace myself every time I step on this thing to make sure my spine isn't mummified, I wouldn't have it any other way. What about the brakes? It’s a bit sudden.
