Moving on...

Not sure we will get this but I'd love to see some of the characters appearing in windows on the facade. Animatronics would be prefered but could probably pull something like the below off using screenz.

I could very much see something like that done, similar to that of the goblin AA that's in the London facades at Orlando.

Meanwhile, from Five Fires,

That Five Fires guy sounded constantly out of breath. I kept trying to breath for him. Ha!

Excited for this ride honestly. Universal needs more dark rides and I have no doubt they can hit this one outta the park

The hype factor increases for me knowing that this is the Hollywood version of Yoshi, just with a SLoP skin.

It’s just the same ride system, but the experiences could end up being very different. Like Cat in the Hat and Men in Black Alien Attack using the same system.

Alicia is right, apart from the bare bones ride mechanics this is a completely different experience, completely different layout, fully indoor (albeit very short) dark ride.

Well, that’s another thing Yoshi and this have in common too, they’re both gonna be short.

Not expecting it to be huge, but I’d assume longer than The Cat In The Hat in Orlando? Even just by like 30 seconds or something

Not exactly the same layout, but a similarly shaped load area, and both equally short.

Maybe I’m wrong, but I think Cat in the Hat is pretty long for a classic family dark ride? At least it felt like it just kept going and going lol. Much longer than Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh, Little Mermaid, etc.

EDIT
Okay I looked it up on Touring Plans and found these ride times (Orlando versions):

Peter Pan: 3 mins
Winnie the Pooh: 4 mins
E.T. Adventure: 5 mins
Cat in the Hat: 6 mins
Little Mermaid: 7 mins

So what are we thinking for this? 4-5 mins?

The first two versions of SLOP were running at apx. 4 minutes. But this building is somewhat smaller than that which was to house the first versions.

Closer to 2-2:30 minutes. Don't even think about the original versions anymore. This was version was completely re-designed from the ground up with a new story.

Nobody is happier than me to see Universal building a classic-style, smaller-scale dark ride (now build one in USF, please!), but only two minutes (if accurate) sounds like it could run the risk of being underwhelming for some. I think it would really need to be packed with scenes and paced very, very well to not feel like it's over before you've even gotten started.

2 Mins is longer than some rollercoasters at magic mountain. I think that's actually a lot for a ride in such a small space.

Na'Vi River Journey is underwhelming at 4.5 minutes. If this really is 2 minutes, then it better be fun as all hell.

I've heard a little under 3 minutes, so this tracks.

They're gonna pack a lot into this small ride.
