I just did a How to train your dragron movie marathon because of this park and now I'm wondering if the will do a HTYD Happy Snoggletog during the Holiday season in the land... Hmmm... I hope so.

I’d be surprised if they didn’t! Glad you saw the movies! I loved the first one when i was a kid and watched the other two in the past year and loved them too!

The more I sit on it, having a (obviously rumored and maybe not even a thing) Kongfrontation like Ford Anglia ride and a Ministry of Magic Ride, along with a Mario Kart ride as your headliners is a really great sell to the general public. Very far down the road, but should be interesting to see how the crowds across the 3 parks are spread out.

Edit: I still think Fantastic Beasts would make the resort more diverse as a whole however.

And THERE’S a question. If “The Ministry”’ is the headlining attraction for the park (which, signs seem to point to that intent), will the broader public care about adverts that showcase the French Ministry? Probably not. But the Department of Mysteries? The Inquisitor Chamber? Dolores? That would excite people. The French Ministry, not so much.

I can see how the Kongfrontation system would work with that but something like a Kuka arm with the track on the ceiling would be a better system.

Frankly they’re very versatile and the most realistic type of ride system for any “flying” type ride. There’s just nothing else developed yet.

But if monsters and whatever this is are just the 2nd and 3rd iteration of Forbiden Journey that’s a problem. I suspect the coaster aspect of Monsters will make things different and hopefully if this is the Kuka arm from the ceiling we won’t even notice. I suspect it’s more the latter and we’ll be fine. It seems like a winner of a ride system

Why do we think Fantastic Beasts is a bigger draw than Nintendo? IMO people are way more excited for SNL than the 3rd FB film. FB will be fun, but there’s no way it’s more anticipated than SNL.

There’s now a rumor circulating that the land may be Potter and not Fantastic Beasts, and we get the British Ministry rather than the French one.

You have to remember, SNL in Orlando will be the third SNL in existence. The rest of the park will be debuting. SNL will get plenty of attention, but newness will dictate other attractions will be just as, if not more, heavily marketed.

At the same time, this will be the 3rd WWoHP land at the resort. Plus, EU’s SNL will be the largest with the most rides.
