IMO the bigger "jolt" is the start of the drop becasue you don't quite know exactly when it will happen. The landing itself is smooth.
All that being said, it takes a split second for it all to happen so your body has almost no time for it to register or for you to *think* about it happening.
Ok. I was starting to wonder as I went over there and all I saw was a bunch of Bioreconstruct pics from like a week ago. So I thought I was looking in the wrong place.
How about Star Tours?. With each video segment having it's own movement design based on the given video segment it makes for 54 unique design combinations. So do you consider Star Tours to be 54 rides as there are 54 destinct designs?
I dunno. I've talked to the people from Brockway, Ogdenville and North Haverbrook and by gum they sure love their monorails! The people of Springfield though didn't quite care for theirs.
This is a fabulous video! As a numbers nerd, I loved the simulations they did and the breakdown/analysis of those simulations.
To me the most salient point on FP+ is at the 1:11 mark after they analyze the data in their simulations. I've made the very same arguments many times in the past on...
Even if people aren't familiary with the IP specifically, Norse theming w/Dragons is a fairly familiar generic fantasy setting that people would understand/get.
Modern day setting with Dragons?...... not so much
Edit: Or also how @shiekra38 said

Curious. Wondering if there is anything contractually binding Universal to have Nintendo attractions in each of their main locations by a certain date? Japan is done, Hollywood is likely going to be done sometime next year, leaving Orlando with nothing. Presumably Epic Universe was orignally...
Many serious cosplayers, LARPers and collectors easily spend that kind of money each year on their costumes and collections.
But also, if you just break it down mathematically, they don't need to attract that many people to this in the overall grand scheme of things. There's rougly 180...
No. But there are massive Star Wars fans who are just as crazy (if not moreso) in their Star Wars fandom as the uber Disney fanatics are to Disney. I have several friends who are into the whole SDCC/Cons cosplay community, have no fandom whatsoever for Disney, but didn't bat an eye when I told...
A good number of people pay $425-$850 per hour on top of the ticket price for VIP tours at Disney.
IMO they will have no problems selling this out for years to come.
Dunno if anyone has speculated this, but perhaps they are testing this out now/early on a heavily popular ride because this is a system they're thinking of implementing more heavily (or entirely) for Epic Universe?
Unless you're going rediculously slow, AA's aren't that noticable. I find that with Hagrid's even though slow in that part, you're still moving too fast to really get a good/appreciated look at fluffy's moving heads. You're already past it in a second.
When it comes to the IP discussion in parks, for me a lot of it is what is that IP generally based on. If the IP is itself based on something "generic" then it can be great and evergreen regardless of the IPs popularity itself.
You could never have seen a single Potter movie, or have read any...
Bolded my biggest factor. I have a hard time justifying paying more than $5 for a Hot Dog (unless it's a footlong). For me a hot dog is a snack and I need at least 2 to make it a meal. It's just kind of a strange mental block with me like I won't pay over $20 for pasta either just in terms of...
Last estimates before the pause were potentially for a summer 2023 opening.
They shut down work last June/July and now should be back up to full steam by this June/July. So hopefully that means they are only year behind and we see this for 2024.
But at this point I'm just ecstatic they're...
