Off topic: I'm excited that I got R.I.P. one night and express another. Having said that, I'm going alone. Will be in town Sept. 14-19th with one day at epcot in between. Staying at dockside.
I would love to meet up with some seasoned folks (i've only done Hollywood since 2016). My event nights...
Can someone explain to me how the holding areas work and where they typically are? Are any eateries used?
Also, if this event is at USO, what happens at IOA? Are there any themes or scare zones? I'm new to this park for this event.
Well I got my tickets. Some thoughts on the process, since it was my first time:
Would have thought RIP included admission to HHN. Not impressed that it's not.
Put RIP in the cart and paid $199. Went back later to look at options and the price was now $329 for the same date. Glad I got mine...
Yeah I called a few hours ago and got a discount on the reservation I already have for sept. He checked tickets and said not quite yet, as we all know, but for some reason he had to put me on hold to tell me that so...
I think she was being careful not to state something with certainty that hasn't been officially released while expressing confidence and dancing around the subject.
FYI regarding ticket sales and houses: I spent 30 minutes on the phone setting up my hotel with an amazing staff person. She said, both with and without certainty, there are "HUGE ANNOUNCEMENTS" coming in the next 2 weeks including the entire lineup in one drop. She also said that the passholder...
Also, are there typically nights that have any special perks for AP holders? Event nights for AP holders etc. and are they consistent? I'm planning my trip from across the country and want to guesstimate when those dates typically are based on prior years. Thank you!
How do packages work for people with premier free tickets? If you choose to upgrade to a package do you get a discount on the package in lieu of the ticket? Is that even a thing? Options options options lol.
Just popping in as a former lurker (but I'm also on the USH threads) to give an obligatory hi, I'm here. I'm headed to USO tomorrow and upgraded my ticket to Premier just so I could have incentive to go to HHN in orlando this year on a free ticket. I've been to USH since 2015 but I've never done...
Yes but the cars have to be in working order. How many people have cars that aren't actually safe enough to be part of that. Like, we know the mechanics inspect the trams regularly. We have to trust that every have schmo has a working vehicle. It's too much of a gamble. We can't even trust...
Cool in theory, a nightmare for liability wise. Can you imagine if anyone gets scared on the jaws bridge and puts their car in gear? Or a car's breaks fail in earthquake?
Not to discount the validity of your statements, but does the general public (like basic folk) put together logic of the story much when enjoying a movie related themed ride? Most people can't even follow basic directions these days or stop themselves from peeing on a public bathroom seat much...
I'm a member of both Disney and US (both coasts) FB groups and both parks are getting massive flack for being open. With the mayor stating he wouldn't hesitate to close the parks again if any outbreaks could be attributed to them people are very nervous as well as hopeful depending on which side...
An "employee" from a FB group said they were trying to figure out if the mazes can be altered to include social distancing for actors and goers before making an announcement.
