They changed the walls infront of river adventure and made the pathway wider.
Pictures were too large to post here but grabbed a couple of quick shots of the area this morning.
Here's that IU photo update.
Photo Update: December 10, 2019 – Universal Orlando Resort | Inside Universal
Edit: some photos from today that I took, showing the new walls.
On the food side of things it doesn't look like a specific scoops ahoy tent. But hawkins heros, ole' amigos and imperial panda. Desserts being the one I assume could be ice cream?
When we were there yesterday they were looking at bolting the doors shut temporarily even though the doors wouldn't open anyway. Looks like this is a better visual way to show they aren't real!
That whole section to the right doesn't actually feature in the Orlando Hogwarts castle either. Could be some forced perspective/magic hijynx at work to make it look like its connected?
It almost looks like the back of hogwarts near the greenhouses but I guess that wouldn't have much continuity with the queueline for Forbidden Journey?
Edit: See this image taken from the huge Hogwarts model at the WB studio tour.
I'm expecting a fair bit of Huey Lewis. Heres 30-75 just for further pondering. Ignore the numbers to the left they should read 30 through 75. With the numbers in brackets at the end the weeks in the charts
Laura Branigan - Self Control (4)
Lionel Richie - Stuck On You (3)
Matthew Wilder -...
They said in the live stream they looked at the top 40 for the end of 1984 and the hits of that year and got carried away with the amount of songs and initially created a playlist with over 7 hours of music they had to cut down.
Heres just the top 30 for some songs that were in the charts in...
I am excited for the event this year and the line up of houses does seem very strong on paper the best since i've been going in 06. Can anyone tell me when was the last time they only had one "show" at the event? There always seemed to be Bill and Ted + one other (carnival of carnage, AoV, rocky...
Apologies for the crude work on paint:
So thought I'd quickly give a potential new resort lay out a go. Taken some inspiration from others who have posted before me and a bit of creative freedom, i'll try explain my thought process behind it.
Resort as a whole:
I think what we will start out...
If the park is called Fantastic Worlds it does seem a slight missed opportunity to not bring the Water World show over from Hollywood, a huge people eater and good stunt spectacular.
If people complain about the theme just retheme it to say Bourne, Mission Impossible, James Bond. If Universal...
Having attended the event quite a few times this year and having myself and my girlfriend fill out the guest feedback on park exit there was a few things I did notice/overhear that kept popping up that I think will help shape the event next year.
1. Complaints about lack of handy pop up food...
Apologies for the crude paint edit but I do enjoy all the talk of sight lines from within the lazy river.
So the picture is just a screen grab from the 4k drone footage from a few days back. The red arrows are the flow of the river, with the blue arrows pointing at the extra rock work they put...
All this talk about sightlines but with the volcano being so big, once you're underneath it you aren't going to see a whole lot from that side of the park. The majority of the views will be obscured by the slides?
I don't think they will leave it they way it is, maybe it won't be fixed by...
