Let's play being head of Universal Creative...

In the broadest sense, maybe yes? But I wouldn't really consider JP, Marvel, Kong, Toon Lagoon and Seuss fantasy in the castle and magic sense. To have Hyrule Castle a stone's throw away from Hogwarts Castle would clash for me, unless they went with a more cartoony Windwaker aesthetic.

How definite is Zelda? It feels odd to me to have two fantasy franchises right next to each other, if Zelda goes to LC. I'm dreamcasting here, but I always thought Animal Crossing would be a much stronger IP than Zelda. I don't think AC was really on the table when Universal and Nintendo first...

    Future of Dragon Challenge?

She sure as hell can write screenplays! She’s a writer. What’s been incredible working with her is her tireless imagination, but also her humility. As a novelist, an editor may make suggestions, but especially her with the success she’s had, with this, she brings an incredibly vivid imagination...

    Universal's New Park/Site B Blue Sky Thread

What is the likelihood of HTTYD? I feel like Berk would be a great theme park environment and the franchise is full of ride and attraction ideas. I'm not familiar with the current relationship between DreamWorks Animation and Universal right now, but is there any possibility of this happening?

Volcano Bay Construction & Preview Discussion

If the virtual queue/queue-less system works well in Volcano Bay could we perhaps see Universal implementing this in a potential future park? Or even in their current parks?

    Universal's New Park/Site B Blue Sky Thread

What's the likelihood of Universal partnering back up with DreamWorks Animation? How to Train Your Dragon would be awesome in a theme park.

Wizarding World - Diagon Alley Discussion - Part 3

I don't know if it's just me, but the graphic design seems a little out of place. Did MinaLima do it or did they have somebody else do it?

    Are Shows Universal?

Would be cool, but unlikely if they could add this: How To Train Your Dragon - The Creature Technology Company

Jurassic World VelociCoaster Construction Thread (Opening June 10)

Jurassic Park made a billion (after the 3D rerelease). Some of the Transformers movies made a billion. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part Two made a billion.

I would love something like this: from http://www.masraniglobal.com/img/treetopgazers.jpg They did something like it for the Jurassic Park Institute Tour (skip to 7:30): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K3jk3414A1s?t=7m39s

Jurassic World VelociCoaster Construction Thread (Opening June 10)

I hope nothing with performers' legs exposed. I was hoping something more like the raptor suits from the first movie. I'm not sure how feasible it would be to have a performer in it for extended amounts of time under the Florida heat though. http://youtu.be/jAzQr3Ml0UI

What is your favorite on-site Universal hotel?

Portofino The only drawback of the Portofino is the long walk to the parks, but you can always take the ferry. The theming is great, restaurants great, ambiance great, it feels like a real sprawled out Italian village on a harbour. Three pools, Express, great rooms. I've only ever stayed at the...

Wizarding World - Diagon Alley Discussion - Part 2

We were one of the first on Gringotts. The ride broke down for about one or two minutes while we were on. Thankfully it broke down right after the last scene (for us at least). They didn't make us leave at 7:00, so we got more than just two hours. It was a great experience and completely...
