Can you "upgrade" non-interactive wands?

Have tried to search on this board and couldn't find anything, so apologies if this has already been asked.

Does anyone know if you bring in a non-interactive wand from universal, can you pay a fee to get it swapped out for an interactive wand? (like pay the difference between the two)?

Outside of returning it (within a recent timeframe), I do not believe so.
