Casting Question

I received a callback for something I auditioned for months ago. Unfortunately, I will be on vacation during said audition, so I emailed them asking if I could do it virtually or at another date and they said not at this time. If I decline this audition, will that hinder me from booking anything in the future with them? TIA

There's never guarantees with this stuff, but from my general experience, you should be fine to decline without it affecting you in the future. Sometimes conflicts like that happen, especially when there are months between selftapes, callbacks, and actual job offers.

UDX callbacks can be so so variable and unpredictable. I've seen friends make it all the way to the final considerations, and then be ghosted completely. Others who got a role almost immediately, after literal years of trying and not getting anything. Some people return year after year like it's nothing. Really no telling what'll happen haha. I'd enjoy your vacation and just keep at it with auditioning!

I don’t think they keep track of that kind of thing. I’m pretty sure that different roles are sort of compartmentalized too. I’m not sure if for example, the people managing upper lot walk around characters are the same people managing FFN or Mario characters.
