Christmas Resorts at Universal

With Christmas right around the corner, we (girlfriend and two girls 13/11) are planning on staying out at Universal for a couple nights. We have stayed at all the resorts at before, but never at Christmas.

Which resort do you think would be the best one to stay at? Do any of them do anything special similar to Disney?

They all do, but I would say either Royal Pacific or Portofino Bay.

Portofino Bay seems to do the most with the giant live tree in the harbor and nightly tree lightings (I'm sure they do more than just that). Royal Pacific sets up a gingerbread village with a train around a tree. Hard Rock decorates as well. I'll try to dig up some pics form last year.

Thank you for the awesome photos GAcoaster!! I've been searching all over the internet for the Loew's holiday decorations trying to decide which is the best. This is more helpful than either the UO or Loews websites!! I decided to make a reservation at both RPR and PBH lol can't wait!!! I had no idea about the gingerbread village/train at RPR SO excited hope they do it again this year.
