It seems that location placement is poorly handled for a lot of things in Citywalk.

Upper management of Citywalk seems like they need to be purged with everything else.

Personally speaking hope Vivo survives the purge. Genuinely adored it for the visit I had with it back in October.

Also I have to ask why aren't the stores at least telling people?

Like why would Sparkys not put a sign up with an end date? Even if not to boost sales but tell fans its the finale chance?

I am going to probably sound rude and I apologize…

But would it really matter if the stores were visibly public in saying whether or not they would be closing or not?

Once again--I apologize for the bluntness; but I think the GP would rather care about other things more than that of "Oh this store is closing".

CityWalk Hollywood is still a mall, first and foremost. Even with it primed to become enclosed as part of a "Bubble", and more often than not it isn't uncommon to see stores quietly close up shop as they either are replaced, move to a different spot, or just get left into the void. As much as I understand where your coming from, especially given institutions like Sparky's (which has been around since the 90's I think); Universal Hollywood rarely likes to talk about the past.

Bringing this up and I don't exactly have a timeframe, but I think CityWalk Hollywood is gonna get an announcement in the next month-two on the sake of a few dominos beginning to fall. They'll care more on infastructural changes that will be directly noticable on the communityline than a store closing.

Thread '(P294) Security Overhaul at USH'

With the advent of P515 and P924's permits being uncovered by the Parkfans crew, I think it's actually time to have a dedicated thread on the subject of the P294 permits. And before we go further--major shoutout to Parkfans for the permits being uncovered and looked into as they have been.

To dive in--P294 is an extensive three-location based project, that will be redistributing and repositioning the Security Check stands to key positions, in order to effectively curate a "Universal Bubble".



The bubble, would ensure that security check stands would be located at three...

P294, the park's major Security Renovation project, which will include moving and replacing the current security to three "Checkpoint" locations. The goal is to effectively make it into a bubble for the sake of Universal Studios Hollywood, Universal CityWalk Hollywood, and the Universal Studios Hollywood Hotel.

Really hoping with all the changes CityWalk Hollywood is gearing up to have--that NintendoLA is genuinely brought back.

With West Coast locations already beginning with Nintendo San Francisco, having a NintendoLA that has close proximity to Metro Lines and in a space close to Nintendo-based experiences might be a really great way to strengthen the fan presence of the company/property.

A Citywalk Hollywood announcement that's not a removal?

Hope it's good (and reasonably priced), I'm still lamenting the loss of Blaze.

It's an interesting location for this though. Are they trying to shift everything food related to the "front" end of Citywalk closest to the park (and future hotel)?

Citywalk & it's changes are headache inducing.
