I'll be at Disney, and Epcot, in a few days. It will be nice to finally visit Epcot with most all of the constructions walls down, and some nice lush landscaping to replace the unshaded concrete. And, as is my policy, I'll be off IU and the internet for a couple of weeks. Vacations are for relaxation, not the phones in the face and computers.

The interior should have lighting like that year-round. Makes a big difference and doesn't feel like a high school cafeteria.

That actually looks pretty solid! I agree that the lighting helps it immensely. It feels like guests are actually supposed to be inside the building now.

It's the difference between "just a space" that you could find in any school/campus/mall/etc. and a themed environment at a destination resort. Nobody will mistake that interior for great work even with better lighting, but it sure does help.

Which begs the question why didn’t they put SOMETHING in it when it opened? They have so much crap they use for Run Disney events just make it a history display or something rather than a blank space…

Even just the usual EPCOT Legacy material they bring out every so often in the Odyssey building would've been something. This made a really poor first impression.
