Have all said it's coming imminently in the past 7 days. According to GabeFollower, the plan to announce HL3 in 2025 has not changed. According to Tom and Mike, the announcement will not be at The Game Awards. The first leak that opened the floodgates stated it would be the week following the Frame/Machine announcement. Half-Life released November 19th, Half-Life 2 released November 16th, Half-Life Alyx was revealed November 21st.

And of course, this. It's absolutely coming within a week, possibly in the next 4 days.

EDIT: Now we can add NateTheHate to the list. "Announcement timing is one of those things I'm working to get consensus on. I've heard very mixed things."

(Probably not. Every rumored reveal date was BEFORE TGA, and it was specifically stated it wouldn't happen here by a couple credible leakers. But it's always fun to believe, and they certainly upped the ante by revealing Divinity so early. No clue what the actual finale could be.)

It’s one of the best games I’ve ever played. The story and world is super compelling, and the gameplay is layered with nuances that requires paying attention without feeling unapproachable. Never mind how gorgeous and creative the design is.

It wears its Final Fantasy influences on its sleeve (it feels a LOT) like FFX, but that’s a feature not a bug. It takes that formula and modernizes it to near perfection. It’s been years since I’ve jonesed to immediately restart a single player game like Expedition 33. Even going through my To Play list… I’m just itching to get back to THAT game (and that itch lasted through a 94% completion of Silksong). Yes, the game is that good.

I didn't make it past act one because they added on a new attack you have to Dodge and was like no thanks on that but I respect the team for making such a great game on a smaller budget as well

So many just crap games coming out, this one felt like they cared about it and like baldur's gate 3 while the game didn't hit me like other people, I appreciate the team


As for my Hyrule Warriors is my GOTY, I just like mindless fun. So many games feel like work now, I only really play the ones like Nintendo make now which are more about fun then anything else.

It is good, I enjoyed it, but the first 2 are better. Maybe avoid the online discourse about it because it’s getting a lot of hate and even though I’ve already finished it it still kind of gets me down that this wasn’t a more universally loved release like I wanted it to be as this is my favorite franchise in all of gaming.

I planned on playing Prime 4, I was pretty excited for it. It looks beautiful, but I’ve heard nothing but “this is the worst Prime game, probably the third worst Metroid game and it doesn’t feel like it even wants to be Metroid game” across the board.

I’d probably still give it a shot, but I have so many games to play already and now that I’m in college I have a pretty limited amount of time. I can’t afford to spend time and money on a game that I know is going to be mid just to see glimpses of potential.

I’m pretty sad about this. I haven’t played most of the series, just Prime Remastered and most of Dread and Super. But I do get the appeal, Prime Remastered was one of my favorite games on the entire Switch.

I really hoped that this would be a launch title and a 10/10 return to form that would revive the series and bring it to new, 5-10M+ copies sold per game heights.

If you played the other Prime games I’d be able to say that it’s around Prime 3 in quality for me which while considered the weakest entry is still a very good game.

For the Switch Dread and Prime Remastered are indeed better games but that doesn’t mean Prime 4 has no redeeming qualities. Like I said I did still enjoy it, it just doesn’t reach the overall highs of Prime 1 & 2.
