Just got back from my trip. I'll do a more detailed review post, but Monsters Unchained was in pretty rough shape Friday - both pre shows down, as well as Ygor, the first frank, escaping dracula, and mummy animatronics all down.

Looking at the Touring Plan apps., Monsters has had more downtime the past two weeks than it had before. Mario has had more downtime too.
Ministry has had some really good days, but some really bad tech days. Kind of feast or famine with Ministry downtime lately.

Monsters was down for a bit today, however when it came back up, I got on with a 10 minute wait. Pre-show were both 100% working with both Frank and Victoria AA's up and running. I also didn't notice a single animatronic down on the ride. All the Dracula AA's were working, as was Gill-man. I'm so glad I got the full experience for my first ride.

I’ve seen every AA work except the final Dracula. Need to get back sometime.

I've brought it up before, but it's really interesting how the conversation around Unchained at this point revolves almost entirely around which aspects weren't operating on any specific run. I hear so little discussion of people's thoughts on what was working, or the overall ride experience for them. It's an unfortunate aspect of what I believe to be the best ride at the resort.

I've brought it up before, but it's really interesting how the conversation around Unchained at this point revolves almost entirely around which aspects weren't operating on any specific run. I hear so little discussion of people's thoughts on what was working, or the overall ride experience for them. It's an unfortunate aspect of what I believe to be the best ride at the resort.

None of the animatronics really have a presentable B-mode. You just come face to face with a static figure that you know is supposed to do something.

They need an alternative like the Rise of the Resistance ending when Kylo Ren isn't working. Your ride vehicle literally faces away from the broken animatronic and you still get something to watch and carry the story along.

I am nearly through the entire Universal Monsters box set and I have to know: is there an Abbott and Costello reference somewhere in the land?

I didn't notice anything, but if there was I'd be so happy. Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein is one of my all-time favorites.

I think I only missed 2 things on my rides on Sunday the 28th and Monday the 29th, a werewolf that just had a strobe light on him and right after Victoria says don’t let it touch you or something like that, before creature looks like there is supposed to be something there but I don’t know what, as for the preshow, first ride on Saturday everything worked except frank, the next ride on Monday everything worked and on the third and final ride the show malfunctioned right before we entered and they had us walk straight to the lockers

Even though I didn’t get a perfect ride through in all three of my rides, still my favorite ride at Epic, what was working was amazing.

Still not open so far. Of course this is our only day here, and the one ride this forum pumped me up for the most.

Monsters down, untrainable dragon down, and almost 3 hours waits so for for donkey Kong, Mario kart, and HP. Not a good experience, hoping it turns around this afternoon

Epic has become like a lottery ticket due to severe under capacity and lingering downtime issues. Unfortunately, Epic is a 'you win some you lose some' park. I held out to visit Epic until November, even though I was at WDW in June, thinking they'd get most of their sh_t together by now.
Not even close. Downtime is no better now than when the park opened. It's the ghost of 1990 USF haunting. I bet Comcast Execs didn't
expect to have to limit daily capacity this late in the year......Stay until closing tonight. The only constant is that attraction times get better when the darkness comes, and most of the early risers tire out and leave.
