To make things a little easier, I decided to just make a thread since I didn't know where to put this stuff. First, via Screamscape:

(12/2/11) The Disney Fantasy will feature a new Muppets Adventure Game on board, an interactive adventure quest inviting guests to solve “The Case of the Stolen Show”. Guests are given a map and a RFID game card, which they can hold up in front of various pieces of “Enchanted Art” on board which will come to life, as well as hunt down other props and clues throughout the ship. The game will feature several different possible endings as well as some randomized events, making the adventure play out a little differently each time. You can read a few more details about this adventure game as well as see other unique features coming to the Disney Fantasy over at http://dizfanatic.com/DCLfantasy.aspx

with a little behind the scenes video:

and lastly a video for the awesome mascots for the Disney Fantasy, Dumbo and Timothy:

From Screamscape
(1/13/12) The Disney Fantasy was “floated out’ earlier this week in Germany. You can catch some video of the newest addition to the Disney Cruise Line fleet, shot both inside and out below.

I've only been on one cruise (a really great one on Royal Caribbean's Freedom of the Seas) but I gotta say that the AquaDuck ride looks amazing enough for me to consider Disney!

I'm pretty sure a Disney cruise would be too . . . intense . . . for me. Way too many people being happy. People that I would be stuck with for a week.

my FIRST Disney cruise was 14 days through the panama canal (magic)... I've been on 2 more since then (Wonder and dream) with my 4th scheduled for June (Fantasy here I come!). Adult entertainment is fun, Teen entertainment is great I hear, and if you don't wanna see be happy you don't need to... but you might become happy anyway.

Personally...I'd be really hesitant to go on a Disney Cruise. They have beautiful ships, and I'd really love to visit Castaway Cay, but I feel the cost of the cruise is just for the Disney name. I can go on RCL or Carnival for less money, visit just about the same places, and the only difference is that I wouldn't have my meals interrupted with Disney characters.

Yeap not to mention no Casinos, and in all honesty the adult entertainment you speak of is to go to the spa or drink, otherwise you're paying TRIPLE the cost of a Carnival cruise and getting less of a product.

Thanks but no thanks

I was joking. I went on a cruise a while back and loved it. I got to go scuba diving on the coast of Mexico and cave tubing in Belize. Definitely something I will never forget.

I love Cruising. We've sailed on Carnival 4 times now with a 5th being planned for our 5th anniversary next year. I would like to try out Disney Cruise Line but I just can't justify the added cost for it. For the price of an Inside Disney cabin I could get a Balcony on a Carnival ship. I do think Disney excels in there children programs though. Now that I have my own child I would like to try Disney Cruise Lines. However unless they run the "Children sail free" promo again then Carnival when continue getting my money.

Off topic but if anyone are interested in addition to my theme park trip reports I also have full trip reports from each of my 4 cruises that I can share if anyone would be interested.

I'm heading out on my first Disney cruise in April and yes, I can probably take 3 Carnival cruises for the price but I'm justifying it because the ships look really nice (and not filled with tacky purple and teal carpet and fluorescent lights like on the Carnival ships my friends have posted on Facebook), the service should be wonderful, Castaway Cay I hear is unlike anything else, and the Disney shows are supposed to be top notch.

My other top choice is a cruise on the new Allure of the Seas or Oasis of the Seas from Royal Caribbean but even those are more expensive than Disney right now.

I'll have to check out the newer ships. The one I saw looked old Vegas themed.

Probably one of the older ships. I highly recommend checking out the Miracle and Magic.

I looked up the whole fleet now. It was definitely one of the older ships. The newer ones look pretty badass and sooo cheap. I could literally get a suite for what I'm paying for Disney.

I went on the carnival dream (sister ship to the magic). It was incredible and looked great. I've also been on the legend and pride which had more of a classic look to them instead of the bright and vibrant look of the older ships

It wasn't a Disney cruise (Carnival), so . . . I definitely agree with you there lol.

Say! Speaking of cruises . . . this just happened:
