I'd personally recommend a different approach: Haunted Mansion Holiday, then Tiana's, then Runaway Railway. I'd try for Rise later in the day once a bulk of the park has had a go at it.

I'll consider that, I've yet to do a nighttime ride on ROTR for that matter. It'll definitely be a plan B if ROTR doesn't open with the park.

This is what I would do with the caveat that (in my experience) Runaway Railway’s queue is typically pretty manageable. I’d do Mansion, Tiana’s and then see what Rise looks like before moving on. Maybe even hit Big Thunder and then check the Rise wait again.

Our plan is to keep an eye on the app and wait for ROTR to go down. It nearly always does, usually in the afternoon. Then go and wait for it to reopen, and you'll be nearly in the front of the line and get on with minimal wait.

Granted, it may not work, but it's worked for us about 4 out of the last 5 visits. Typically nowadays, it usually only breaks down for about 30-45 min before it reopens.

Would I be looking for if the wait time for ROTR is within an hour or less?

Yeah, that's usually what I do. It'll be interesting to see what the crowds are like this weekend given that it's the start of the holiday period, but we've had good luck on Sundays in late morning or midafternoon.

This worked for me great one of the last times I was there. We stood around for about 10/15 minutes and the ride was back up and we walked right on. Obviously not always the case, but it can work!

Also note for those going on Star Wars ROTR

The Time listed is what you will wait until your getting on the Ride part of the attraction, meaning The Ray room and other pre show stuff is apart of the wait time. So FYI on both planning for time and also if its 45 mins even...Then should be 30-35 mins before your in the Ray Room

Also may the force be with us and next weekend it somehow not rain at the parks

That's an impressive list!

Last few times I've gone, though, I don't even get LL anymore. There's just not that many rides I go on that require it, or can't be ridden with strong planning or use of SR.

Speaking of which, anyone know if Space Mountain is using SR again? It keeps going back and forth. I heard Indy is back to having SR?
