That song sounds GREAT. Best footage of this new movie I've seen.

I really didn't like that, her acting was weird. ( over emoting?) I'm not even hating, it's felt very awkward. the singing was good but I didn't like her expressions
hate to be honest but that was kind of annoying

This movie like all Disney live action movies is going to be horrible. Disney should just stop putting their efforts into things like this and actually focus on making things that everyone will enjoy. This thread deserves to be left in the dark.

"This movie like all Disney live action movies is going to be horrible."

Yeah sorry, but that is simply hyperbolic nonsense.

Look obviously these remakes come from a VERY cynical place. Disney wants to make as much money with as little effort as possible. The worst of these films are paint-by-numbers regurgitations that have little reason for existing. Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King being prime examples.

However, the notion that all of them are horrible is beyond silly. The best of them deepen and build upon the sometimes simplistic originals. Branagh's Cinderella, David Lowery's Pete's Dragon and Craig Gillespie's Cruella are a few that come to mind.

I will try to stay open-minded with this movie the same way I try to stay open-minded with anything I have yet to experience.

In theory, I agree that it's hyperbolic to dismiss any art before we've experienced it.

But I don't believe this is art. It's a Big Mac and the movies don't deserve the benefit of the doubt I'd usually attribute to it.

I do think that it at least deservers a chance. I do agree with everyone saying that I should have a more open opinion instead of just saying that it will be a horrible movie when it comes out. I'll give the movie a chance and then give my thoughts about the movie once I actually see the movie.

Woah....Domestic Box Office way way worse than anyone predicted. A catastrophe. Per screen numbers like a small bad independent film.

It’s not a good movie! They reshot large swaths of it twice! The Hollywood press never knows how to address failures of this magnitude because it would 1) require saying the movie is bad, and 2) few in the trades want to hold the executives that greenlit and oversaw production accountable. So instead, we get hit pieces on Rachel Zegler.

They predicted problematic ticket numbers, but nowhere near this bad. Not even close.

you could kind of tell that the dwarves were never going to be in it originally . and the "bandits " that the leak pics showed were just awful. I'm sorry for the actors but it was terrible. big yikes, just didn't belong there ...... the writing was just kind of atrocious.

large parts of the movie made no sense, other parts and songs were cringe, just baffling.
Rachel, was cute, charming, lovable at points, but the dialogue, my God, and her interactions with the prince, Jesus no.no......
and poor gal Gadot, completely miscast, not a great singer, just terrible lines ( again)
not sure how much of these problems were from reshoots, but it's so terrible.
the movie was both boring and very annoying.
also the movie and the costumes looked ugly, or the lighting or something.

( but I loved every second of time with the dwarves, they made me laugh, they were amazing, very funny, very charming too. specially one in particular, very cute)

Hopefully this slaps some sense into Disney to knock it off with the live action remakes and instead prioritize more original content. Not holding my breath though.

I actually enjoyed the movie? New songs were pretty good, dwarves CGI much improved since first look, and I didn't think the changes to the story were anywhere near as bad as it could've been. Even Gal Gadot was decent.

Boy Disney has experience quite a reckoning with this movie. I knew this was going to do bad but…..holy cow.

I would like to believe this should be a lesson to Disney to quit with these lazy, soul sucking, uninspired lazy live action remakes and instead put some money to something creative, something creative.

Also, this is more towards Hollywood in general but WTH is up with these out-of-control budgets!?! I’m no accountant by any means but do they really need to spend this much money on a movie!?
