I live about two minutes away from the street where the police blockade/bikes start flying scene was filmed. It’s not that big, but on that street, there’s a mural on a wall that commemorates the location’s place in movie history, with the bikes all flying over a forest against the sunset.

Universal’s mural’s color scheme looks exactly like it (minus having the bikes flying). It’s certainly unintentional, but it’s a cool little happenstance thing to see!

The place I work is very near the house where the family lived in the movie. You can just google "ET house" and the location will pop up. I've driven past it, and while it's been modernized a bit, it's still pretty recognizable as the same house.

This is great! The ET entrance area upgrade as a side effect of DreamWorks Land is a huge win for the park as far as I'm concerned. Wonder what the plan is for the courtyard in front of Animal Actors or if that will remain as-is for now.

This all rules far more than I expected when the construction walls initially went up 5 feet away from the ET entrance. Love seeing ET getting this much love 34 years into its existence.

Botanicus was working better than ever when I was there in March. One of the best pre show scenes.

Rode today for the first time in a while and can spot the improvement. Botanicus looks great, the Green Planet looks great. Still a few things that need some fixing, but otherwise - it all looks great.

For a ride that opened in 1990, this is still holding up relatively well. ET Adventure is truly a time capsule of a bygone era at USF.
